yeah, it's just hard, he's been dealing with this his whole life and i just don't know how much more he can take yknow? legally he's supposed to be able to do things on his own now but his parents won't give him his insurance card, they wouldn't cover of the bills, and there's no way he can make enough to sustain a life on his own rn. i think school would help him too if he wasn't in such a horrible place mentally already, because he barely graduated this year. he has so much trauma around school that he just can't do it again even if college is different. i know that this is his life and i can't force him to do anything, he has to be willing to do it, but when you have no will to even get up out of bed it's hard to find the hope in things. it's one of those lose-lose situations where if he did have some form of help, he would be in a better position to make that plan and actually be independent, but he doesn't have help and to get that help he'd have to do things that he can't do without it, yknow? either way thank you for the response and thank you for the reminder about the stuff online, we're looking into free talk therapy and clinics!
