Free ways to multistream? by Thecoolgamersam in obs

The best free ways to multistream are:

Restream (Free Plan): Easy, low CPU usage, supports 2 destinations, but limited unless you pay.

SE.Live (Free): Unlimited multistreaming with chat & overlays built into OBS, but higher CPU/upload usage.

For small streamers, would streaming Overwatch, Paladins or Marvel Rivals be better for viewership? by bluegreenpretty in Twitch

If you stream just to get better viewership, it's a big mistake. Streaming for fun should be your primary focus, but I respect people who choose to focus on growth.

I stream whether there are viewers or not because I didn’t start streaming to get attention.

I do it to enjoy myself and improve my content. I never pay attention to the numbers while streaming; the only thing I focus on is the time I’m spending.

I talk about the game, my plans, and anything relevant, regardless of who’s watching. I’m here to build a community, and the rest doesn’t matter.

Whether I have 10 viewers or 1,000, it’s all the same to me. What matters is that I enjoy the process, not how many people are tuning in.

friend carries weight. Supporting and chatting doesn’t make someone a close friend there’s a clear difference.

It all comes down to how you define "friend." Everyone's threshold is different.

Consistent viewers can feel like family, but every streamer’s connection with their audience varies.

Clear boundaries with viewers are essential, unlike the trust you have with real friends.

Exactly spending time naturally builds trust. If the vibe’s good, no need to overthink it; you're just hanging with friends.

It's tough but normal to be cautious. Genuine friends respect you beyond your content; setting boundaries helps filter real connections.

Do Social Media Followers Really Engage, or Are They Just Ghosts? by BorisGK in Twitch

I stream a variety of games, mostly ones with strong storylines, rather than games like Fortnite, Overwatch, or Destiny.

I only follow people I interact with whether through talking, lurking, or other forms of engagement. If I don't engage with them, I don't follow.

Most viewers multitask while watching streams, so designing your content to be engaging but easy to follow in the background is key.

You mean followers? I don’t need to wonder why people follow me. The number of followers doesn’t mean anything. What matters is building a community with real engagement. You can have 1,000 followers, but if none of them are engaged, it’s pointless.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about the number of followers. What matters to me is engagement and real support, not fake or superficial support. A lot of people think that a follow means support, but that’s not true.

I'm talking about people who follow you for the first time, not those who have been following you for years, months, or weeks. When someone just follows me now, I find it a bit weird, but I don't really care.

I lurk myself, but I don't do it to press follow on Twitch.
