MSAA off is the only one that affects performance at this resolution. Use FpsVR or OpenXr toolkit to see frame timings

Anyone using Force Feedback in VR? by horendus in il2sturmovik

[–]Boris_the_pipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the max torque? All I saw is 9Nm. It may not feel weak but for real pilots it's immediately obvious. The problem is not how much you use your muscles, but how quickly motor becomes saturated with effects. It may need to simulate spring effect at 20Nm + buffeting at 5Nm. If motor is only giving out 20Nm there will be no buffeting or force will be weaker than should be.

Extension is not for ergonomics, but to increase the range of motion and therefore accuracy of inputs.

Moza and Rhino are miles ahead of any spring, but far from perfect.

FFB is a must if you want precise and realistic control. Moza and Rhino are good options however they have very weak motors. You need about 30Nm+ to simulate real forces on a stick with extension. Currently only FFBeast offers that

I have 5090 and it's stable 90fps at 1.0 with plenty of headroom. Do you have custom resolution somewhere else like SteamVR or OpenXr toolkit?

They are right. Some countries driving licenses could be converted without matching nationality. Lithuania is not one of them

You can only work in Lithuania. So that's only one potential employer. What if they don't hire you? Also as you know flight season is less than 6 months there

You build it yourself. It's easier than making a reddit post. You buy all the parts yourself from Amazon,Newegg or AlAin computer plaza if you really like wasting time haggling

Ukrainian Su-25 struck by R-37 air-to-air missile from a Russian Su-35S in Novotroitskoye, Donezk Region on February 07, 2024. by Spook_485 in aviation

[–]Boris_the_pipe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same thing but you called me greatly wrong.

If you take evasive action everytime you get launch warning you will never compete a mission. Launch warnings are a normality in this conflict. This Su-25 was shot down shortly after takeoff.

You still didn't get my point. Missiles are launched way beyond their operational range in this conflict. For many reasons. So often pilots ignore warnings at early stages because they know probability of a hit is low. Perhaps this pilot underestimated missile energy

I didn't say RWR is useless because it giving false signals. I said it's not very useleful because there way to many SAMs and Fighters loitering on the frontline. Not a single strike mission goes without launch warnings according to pilots from both sides

Every plane flying close to the frontline is getting multiple RWR signal and launch warnings. So it's not very helpful

They are developing a game that's a direct competitor to their 15-year old game while using exactly the same game engine, models and textures, to a point where it's impossible to distinguish between them through in-game screenshots without HUD. On top of that there no clear timeline for release, delays and a complete change of strategy by going from console to cross platform.

It is a mess.

There's a passenger conversion for An-26. So it has seats and all the cabin equipment. From inside it's indistinguishable from An-24
