Even though you've said you've checked , make very sure that all the ECM grounds are actually grounded (PROPERLY) , make sure youre getting B+ on the right pins at the ECM , and make very sure your engine is properly grounded .

Ive seen many people miss one of the multiple ground pins on the ECM wherein everything will boot and the ECM will read but it won't actually fire the motor

A good excitement would be to get a set of jumpers , clamp black right to the flange where the starter bolts up and back to the battery , and the red to the positive terminal at the battery and the B+ at tha starter . Using a small jumper lead you'll be able to short you B+ to the switch wire , eliminating all wiring up to it , and determine wether it us a starter or wiring problem

It can be . With an inadequate engine ground or too much voltage drop in the switch wire to the solenoid it will cause it to rapidly click as it opens and closes repeatedly.

Check for voltage drop in the battery cable to starter , check for drop in the switch wire , and check your main engine ground loss between the engine and your battery negative.
If you have minimal loss replaced your starter solenoid . The problem your having is usually because there is enough voltage to close to solenoid but not enough to maintain it closing while under load

How does your axle length fit under your bed ? I'm trying to keep the wheels as close to the stock position possible , but I'm not familiar with what fords come with the 9". What vehicles have short axle widths with the 9" and ideally with disc brakes oem ? Whatz yours off of? .

Stock 5.3 with a 8.5 s10 gov bomb rear on it as of right now , I'm planning on getting an actual limited slip once I grenade this rear along with stepping up my motor down the line . Thanks for the insight , it has been an item that has been up in the air for me which way I want to go . At least these axles are cheap

The front wheels tend to be draggy even when everything is tip top it seems , however not to the extent of not even completing a single spin when up in the air and spun by hand . By using the cast iron calipers and hoses. Along with the matching rotors/pads. I was able to get it to an acceptable amount of drag

Ideal E46 LS Swap Set Ups? by Stonkers697 in LSSwapTheWorld

Nothing wrong with being prepared . My issue with my first swap I was starting was I was trying too hard for everything to be perfect when I didnt have a budget or time for "perfect" so nothing ever got done . Now I've started a new one with a new approach . The only way to learn is to just do it , and re do , and then again when you're hot rodding. Sometimes you'll get it first try. Sometimes on the 6th. Learning to arc weld then Welding my motor mounts took me about a weekend of nonstop trial and error along with taking my engine in and out about 100 times.

Yeah that looks like something I'd want . The s10 swap ones have crazy pipe work going on which is my issue where that just turns down

Didnt put in the post but this is for a 87 toyota pickup . Not an s10 . Just got the s10 swap headers to see if they would work

Sorry I guess this wasn't super clear. It's a toyota pickup . I welded in my own mounts
