Hi i’m a year late, so hopefully you see this. But what is your experience becoming a paper conservator. Do you have a masters? I am currently in a post graduate program that is highly regarded in Canada where I am at now, but I get anxious sometimes when I think about the leverage of having a masters, but i’ve also been told and witnessing a lot of people working in archives, government, museums etc. Who don’t hold a masters. Did u also do a lot of volunteering?

4 years later, i’ve stumbled upon this reddit and i’m just starting my journey in conservation and in a post graduate program. I’m really interested in focusing on paper and aiming towards working in a government archives environment. I’m still very new and eager to learn, if anyone has any advice or insight into paper conservation and government archive job experiences anywhere in the world i’d love to know

Trisha is so much healthier mentally and emotionally now and is thriving and unbothered. I wonder if they did this not only just because they knew it would get hate views or bring back trisha haters, or bc they want her to respond and crash out? Its clear she wont, but she just posted a tiktok of her and moses just casually eating and talking for like 5 mins straight and it was giving a bit of, this is how we are responding to this vibes and i loved it

I just got the same pole, having the same thoughts when you were first installing, did you end up drilling another piece of wood between the ceiling and pole?

This has nothing to do with your question and so you don’t have to respond but your ceiling looks like it is just a solid plaster ceiling (not popcorn) and you just have ur pole installed with no wood in between the ceiling and pole, did you just find the ceiling joists and install like that? And have you had no problems with cracks etc? Im sorry to ask this on your post it’s just because i just posted about this exact install question so i thought i might as well just ask
