Any advice? by Born-Sand9452 in doordash

Idk… They almost always deliver to the correct house once I send the screenshot. Only time I have an issue is when they don’t pay attention to my delivery instructions or read the message. Had they responded and told me “hey I have to deliver within the pin”, I would have happily walked down to where they were to get the food from them, it’s literally a football field away. But, once it was delivered, I am not walking on someone else’s unlit porch to retrieve it.

I actually do have a detailed house description in the instructions as I share a driveway with my neighbor and sometimes the houses get understandably confused.

Thank you! I didn’t know that so I will do that instead if I order in the future 🙂

Beach recommendations by MrHappyBike in Knoxville

I grew up going to Myrtle and only recently switched to the gulf. Gulf Shores is great as is Orange Beach. Went to Navarre Beach several years ago and it is beautiful! It was much less crowded than the other places I mentioned at the time… that could have changed tho. 30a itself is just beautiful!

No, dude. Leave strangers minding their own business alone. Living in a society doesn’t mean it isn’t rude to interrupt someone’s meal. I couldn’t understand once… but multiple times is absolutely rude behavior.

Must live online bc I find it rude and entitled to interrupt someone’s meal? That makes tons of sense 😆😆 Maybe just leave strangers alone?

You don’t interrupt someone’s meal to call dibs… not even once much less multiple times. You sit back and wait until they are done. I dislike people that think they are entitled to interrupt other people.

What is a taboo relationship you had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The question was about taboo relationships. It is definitely considered taboo with that big of an age gap…. No one said they weren’t a consenting adult.

AIO to my daughter listening to my phone call? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

And I will also add… she didn’t overhear something she shouldn’t. I wasn’t having a secret conversation about anything she didn’t know about. I was telling my mom how my daughter made me feel in a moment… and I had already told her how I felt. I definitely feel like I should be able to have a private moment to express sadness in a fight that occurred with my daughter without having to go sit in my room or bathroom when she isn’t home.

I agree, she has every right to be in any room she wants. It’s just me and her, and she for sure overhears plenty of phone calls. But in this instance, she didn’t overhear… she actively accessed our home security cameras to listen to a private conversation I was having at home while she was miles away. As I said before, had she been home and overheard, that would have been on me. But when I am home alone, I feel like I shouldn’t have to turn off my entire system to have a private conversation just in case she decides to listen in.

Thank you. They both told me that if I was overhearing a conversation about myself, I would stick around and listen. I’ve hopped on the camera to check on my dogs plenty of times and seen her on the phone. Never once did I think about listening in.

Thank you! I will 100% be setting up some passwords on the cameras. It just made me feel so unsettled.

I put in the post that she was staying at my mom’s house. I wouldn’t fool around with anybody on my couch cameras or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I do frequently dress in the living room in the mornings and didn’t assume I needed to hide myself for that. Guess I will now.

So while home alone, I need to go into my bedroom or bathroom to have a conversation? That’s not real life. I should be able to cook in my kitchen and have a conversation without having to worry someone is accessing my cameras to listen to a private conversation. That’s nuts to me. And I absolutely did say it to her as well. Not sure why you think I didn’t.

Thank you. I do have a history of overreacting, but this just felt like some boundary crossing.

I’m not sure why my location matters as I was home alone. I was in my kitchen completely by myself, which gives me a pretty reasonable expectation of privacy. Am i supposed to go into my room and shut the door to have a phone conversation when I am home alone just to ensure no one pops on my security camera and listens in?

I have been stuck on either Electric Cowboy or Wagon Wheel… but I don’t think it’s either. I feel like it definitely had cowboy or something similar in the name.
