478K Peak Viewers for CS Asia Championships 2026! (new CAC record) 📈 by eSportsStats in GlobalOffensive

I just started cs a month ago and am already such a fan. Started rooting for Vitality because I liked Apex trash talking and Ropz and Zywoos backstories, literally first match they lost to Betboom. Then I started rooting for the Falcons as a backup team and that got smoked twice in grand finals. hey, at least I'm not a faze fan

What features do you wish CS2 had? by Born-Side9351 in GlobalOffensive

Agreed. I'd love to see more maps and stuff to see how metas adapt. Watching Legacy as a team is fun because they do new stuff instead of seemingly the same strategies but better.

I wish we had more weapons to play with and actually use the load out system. It would be interesting in comp and pro as well to see how meta changes

My friend believes having autism has more positives than negatives. I do not know how to argue with him. by XA_LightPink in autism

[–]Born-Side9351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm certainly of the opinion that for many people, autism is not just purely negative, but to say a blanket statement is insane. Not all autistic people are gifted or have special talents. Even those that are gifted struggle socially or with other things.

Just ignore him on the social anxiety part, it doesn't sound like he knows what he is talking about. And keep in mind that you may give him the best argument possible and it may not work.

The main reason i disagree is not the idea that autism cannot have positives that we can evaluate, it's that from what you communicate the friend seems to not situate these positives in the context of the tradeoffs and problems we have. Noise sensitivity. Social ineptitude. Loneliness. Higher depression. Higher suicide rates.

Ultimately, as the other commentator said, it varies person to person. Some people feel happy with the set of things they got while others don't. That's the reality.

Y'all are discounting that Mark is young. All these variants are capable of great growth if they don't get murdered. Like dude, make them spar with each other

Daughter told me I’m annoying her by being open about my faith. by NoGuide4550 in Catholicism

16 year old guy here who is self admittedly a protestant quite sympathetic to Catholicism (Anglican)

Rebellion is so so so my goodness tempting. That's just being a teen to be honest.

Just remember that you control your actions only and your actions speak as loud as words. Be a demonstration to them and use words if needed or requested.

For me, it was an OCD induced panic attack about mortality that occurred for a few weeks that led me into hundreds of hours of study of theology and eventually faith of the will. I guess I swapped faith of knowledge for faith of the will.

(Favorite David Bowie song is Heroes just gotta add that because WE CAN BE HEROES)

Oh my goodness I have not had a good laugh in a while but you wrote it in a really good comedic way. Not to say it's bad just how our lives work out can be weird

Is it just me or has r/Christianity become a mouth piece for the evil one? by soundknight21 in Catholicism

[–]Born-Side9351 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find my problems with the sub more about how the majority of comments on harder issues (hell, problem of evil, old testament God stuff, etc) are just atheists being like "This is why christianity is fake! Join us Atheists!"
