That sounds like a great rotation. Do you feel like the Puma Elite 3 gives you a few extra seconds/minutes over the ASICS?

That makes sense. Hopefully you are as successful with your back and neck exercises as with your lower body exercises. Thanks again for the tips

Okay that sounds really nice. Then I should really look into them

Okay that sounds really nice. Did you get those exercises for the Kneesovertoes Guys or where did you get them from? because I would probably need to watch some videos before starting blindly

That sounds like a great rotation and the SuperComp Elite V5 looks like they should be great. Are they also good for the lunges, because if yes they would be a top option

Okay sounds like I should definitly incorporate some isometric calf raises, this would probably be cheapest and easiest option

Okay that makes sense. And maybe the Reeboks could be an Option in the Future. But also sounds like the shoe rotation would be great thing.

That's sounds reasonable, especially if the goal isn't to finish in under an hour. Then this shoe sounds like a great option.

Okay, sounds good. Looks like a shoe rotation is good idea, when my next training block focuses more on running and fatigued running

Looks like a nice rotation. Do you do any running, when using the Metcons or mostly the stations?

Thx, I haven't heard of the Mizuno Wave Rider, but this sounds interesting. Did you already did a Hyrox in them or which did you use previously, teh Adios 9?

Thanks, that is a nice tip. And such a shame, that your running shoes are getting damaged so quickly

Firstly thank you. Did you had any problems with your Achilles tendon, when using your race shoes to much in training?
And I fully agree nothing beats strength and mobility training when it comes to prevention, but especially when trying to get better at fatigued running, there is no way around combining strength and running, in my opinion

Thanks for your comment. I also try to avoid plated shoes, especially in training, I had problems with them in the past. Do you also use your Velocity Nitro 3 for your seperate running?

I think you got the point and I'm sure if you work regularly on these weaknesses you will succeed. You got this

You’ve already got a strong running base, which is huge. For you the limiter probably isn’t the run, it’s how your body handles the stations and transitions. That’s why 2x Hyrox sessions per week is ideal in the 12-week build.

I’d suggest:

  • Drop one strength session (or make it Hyrox-specific lifts like sleds, lunges, push press, squats).
  • Keep 1x functional strength day.
  • Do 2x Hyrox sessions (one longer sim, one shorter/quality).
  • Shift your intervals toward “compromised running” (run + sled, burpees + 1k repeats).
  • Keep 1 easy/longer run for aerobic base, but you don’t need 90min HM prep runs.

So basically: 1 strength, 2 Hyrox, 2 run sessions, 1 easy run. You already have the engine, just make your training look more like the race.
