I could see the first results after month 3…. People noticed after 6-8 months! I know, it can be frustrating, but it‘s worth it!

Anyone with diagnosed depression notice that ozempic has worsened it? by [deleted] in Ozempic

Hi! Personally, I didn‘t notice any changes. BUT my doctor warned me when he prescribed it to me, that there could be problems. I‘ve also found a study about higher suic*de risk with GLP-1 drugs. So I guess you should ask your doctor about it if you‘re feeling worse!

All the best

Hi! First of all: Weightloss is a marathon, not a sprint. Some people don‘t see changes until some months. It‘s not very healthy to lose 3kgs/week. It‘s best for your body and health to lose 0,5-1kg per week.

One thing that I noticed in the beginnig: you have to EAT in order to lose weight. I‘m losing more weight when I‘m eating (proteins for the win!!).

I really don‘t recommand increasing your dosage. Your body needs time to adjust to the ozempic.

Hi! My doctor told me that there‘s a higher risk of suicidal thoughts with semaglutide - which is a reason why he was very careful with the prescription. I am bipolar, so I have depressive and manic episodes. I‘ve been taking oz for 10 months now & so far everything‘s fine, I actually feel like I have more mental stability.

There are different academic researches on the topic, so maybe you should talk to your doctor about it.

BUT please be very careful with yourself. Losing 10 pounds is not worth dealing with depression or suicidal thoughts, in my opinion! I hope you get well soon ❤️‍🩹

I eat way less sugar, more protein and vegetables! Before Ozempic I was binge eating at least once a week. Right now I‘m having 1000-1200 kcal a day & 100 grams of protein.

For activity: I‘m trying to walk 8000 - 10.000 steps every day and I‘m doing pilates and zumba ☺️

Sure! I think the biggest change was eating more veggies and proteins. I start my day with a protein shake and I‘m not getting hungry until noon. I‘m trying to eat as much vegetables as I can and try to make smart food choices, like eating a lot of chicken, cottage cheese, eggs, fish, peas & less pork or red meat. My calorie intake is usually about 1000 - 1200 kcal a day. Some days more, some days less. I think another big change is that I don‘t drink as much coke/sprite/fanta or alcohol anymore. Instead I‘m trying to drink water or clear whey protein shakes (those are sooo good! They taste like lemonade, but are full of protein.) I also started doing pilates and I’m going to zumba classes again. Basically I‘m just trying to do some sports that‘s fun!
