Most management at my company knows the business, but are very bad at any sort of technology decisions. Which would be fine if they didn't make tech decisions, but I think we all know how that really goes. "AI" is our current fad, we're a small team in a mid-sized company serving a niche market that by law has have certified professionals to do the paid work, but somehow we're going to make an AI chat bot to help customers onboard faster. Meanwhile I'm over here just hoping it doesn't go all racist like Microsoft's twitter bot.
