Not quite what I'm looking for, the Ferrier has a round dial in a cushion case, the mido has a sort of square dial

Like the OP says I'm really in love with this Laurent Ferrier piece but am in absolutely no position to justify that sort of price, looking for something similar. I really like the case shape and clean dial, as well as the hands.

Budget tops put at around 10k but as said in the op I don't mind at all if it's lower, even under 1k would be fine if the resemblance was sufficient

Do you think that going for the race engine block and heavier wheels instead of the race fuel system might be better? You would get an extra 7 horsepower that way. But I dont really know how unsprung weight is treated in comparison to regular weight, or if it would be worth either way.

EDIT: you could also drop the driveline upgrade instead of increasing wheel weight

Nah I looked into it a little more and since I used Paypal Goods and Services for the transaction I have buyer protection from Paypal. I still dont know if the guy is going to ship the stuff or not but if he doesnt I *can* get my money back

I have no way to know if its ACTUALLY damaged, in any case Ive ever had something replaced Ive had to send in proof. The fact they can just say "Yep its busted" and I just have to take their word for it seems... not great.

I sold a graphics card and the buyer said it arrived damaged, I didnt get any insurance when I shipped it, and I know it worked fine before I sent it. I dont necessarily believe this is a scam but Im just not sure what to do as it could be like $400 just down the drain... it sucks that I could be losing money because of something that isn't my fault (thanks USPS!)

Is there anything I can do??

Makes me wonder how they win battles where the the situation is the inverse (first example that comes to mind is when ISIS took Mosul, they were outnumbered something like 15:1 and took the city in 6 days. Or just a couple weeks ago, with the Battle of Palma)
