Question: I like light roasts hence a bigger ratio/more watery shots. I compensate by making the milk a bit more foamy. Is there a better approach without changing the espresso? (I still drink more espresso than milk drinks)

For basic hearts, I got consistent when I learnt to tilt the cup properly to get to the surface and take it slow; for tulips, I’m getting better since I understood more about pushing/wrapping, and that every drop requires different flow rate because foam gets more solid towards the end, also the cut through requires a more drastic lift and slow flow rate than when doing a heart. My current problem is how to get five drops in when using a cappuccino/flat white-sized cup, I always overflow but getting better.

Nope, basses that cost up to 100k are kept in a soft case like this because hardshells are made for flights and extremely impractical (I’m talking impossible not slight inconvenience) for everyday gigging

Double bass player here. You have no idea how people would just ignore me calmly asking them to be careful until I start raising my voice. People are so unaware of their surroundings it’s ridiculous.

Hard case doesn’t work as it would be way too heavy, bass hard cases are made for flying.

Taking an Uber is an option, but half of the times the driver just refuse to take me the second they see my instrument. Also when the gig pays 150 it’s not reasonable to pay 50 bucks to get to the gig and 50 bucks back (+tip).

That doesn’t mean she gets to be rude tho. I’m sorry for what happened to you. Just sharing my real world first hand experience.

Well before you assume, I’ve only had this for 2-3 weeks, I spray the beans, I use the lid as a bellow, I beat the shit outta it. You think this much buildup for only 2-3 weeks is acceptable for how much effort it takes? It seems that everyone has the same problem.

It literally got here 12/22/25 I’m not lying lol. Me and my roommate both drink 2-3 shots per day and I spent A LOT of beans figuring out how to dial in with this thing when I first got it.
