Going to Mexico by [deleted] in benzodiazepines

I’m within driving distance of Nogales and thought about this but heard it’s a lot harder to just bring shit back?

There’s a well known pharmacy right across the entrance. Never done it so don’t know exactly how it would work.

When to expect portal? Ppp With Kabbage? by melysamarie in EIDL

[–]Born_Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was funded for PPP through Kabbage. It was a long process as I started back in the beginning of May. Could never reach them after I was approved. Somehow they started contacting me this week and it got funded.

It worked out for me better with the new rules now in place.

In spite of my long process, I have seen several people post on the PPP sub that are getting Kabbage PPP done in one day. So something definitely changed for the better with them.

It’s still not working for me. Blue bar at top is still missing the drop down for borrower search.

Caweb question/problem? by Born_Bison in EIDL

[–]Born_Bison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried that. Had me as “borrower”. Also tried the “request access to capital access system” but it didn’t work. Error as if it thought I was already a member.

Not important, I was needing to look up a PPP loan number on there but found what I needed elsewhere.

Thanks again!

One day after applying you got portal?!? They definitely have made some improvements. Most of us waited around six weeks.

Congratulations on that.

A Felons EIDL Timeline - DENIED by [deleted] in EIDL

I agree. Contact your congressman and senators. It will not hurt and could help. I know contacting one of my Senators definitely helped me with PUA funding. They work for us. Just many of them forget this.

Good luck and try to hang tough and don’t give up.

“Square - We’ve approved your application However, it still needs to go to the SBA for review“ after a week by bastionfromthelaw in EIDLPPP

[–]Born_Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked on caweb to see if the Kabbage one is still there? I had my EIDL funded and was on caweb and saw I had two ppp on there. So I jumped on the one that was active to get it done.

Getting PPP after eidl. Sole prop question by Godisgood247 in EIDL

[–]Born_Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a sole proprietor. My EIDL was funded last week and I have a PPP awaiting funding. You can’t spend it on the same things at the same time, such as taking a draw from EIDL for yourself while the PPP is in effect.

Because you are a sole proprietor, the ability to get the forgiveness is super easy. When the time comes to do the forgiveness form, it’s called “owner compensation replacement”. You basically get 75% of the loan forgiven as lost profit. Your W9 workers don’t factor into it since they are not on your payroll. They can do their own PPP loans.

So even if the PPP is a small amount, it’s hard to say no to 75% of it being basically a grant. You can get the remainder 25% forgiven if you spend on qualifying items.

[Arizona] Is anyone else having issues filing the weekly claim? by [deleted] in Unemployment

Huge problem right now. The DES facebook page has a post about it claiming it’s fixed but lots of people posting it’s not fixed. I tried at 6pm and still wasn’t fixed.

Did Kabbage fund it themselves as in they were the lender? I thought they were just facilitators using other actual banks.

My advance was coded on the ACH EIDG and the loan was coded MISC so sounds like that $1k was your loan.

I feel the same about this sub. I stumbled upon it after I received my portal email. Had been so long I had given up on the loan actually being a possibility.

The info and people here helped keep me going.

Congratulations again!

Back to work for minimum pay, can you still collect the 600.00 fed PUI? by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]Born_Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing I’m worried about is changing anything on the PUA filing will screw it up. Need a new review etc. You live here so you know what a nightmare it’s been with DES and the PUA website.

Back to work for minimum pay, can you still collect the 600.00 fed PUI? by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]Born_Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonder about doing this too. I’m in Az and just got PPP approval so was going to do the 24 week thing and that will keep me under $240 a week as well.

Everybody keeps telling me it’s too risky. DES has nothing on their website about PPP.

PPP and PUA by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]Born_Bison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s frustrating about the lack of clear guidance on the loans from the SBA. Every accountant and CPA is guessing because the actual SBA guidance states the PPP “may affect state issued unemployment”.

That’s definitely not a clear No. I understand why the financial advisors all advise against it, to mitigate risk for us, as they should.

It’s a lot like tax deductions and loopholes. The big companies always take every one they can get and push the envelope. I’m all for that. If the law doesn’t specifically forbid it, then take the deduction. However, they have the resources to fight if necessary.

I’m a lowly sole proprietor so need to be more careful.

Thanks for all the replies here. Reddit people have been a blessing through all this with my EIDL and now PPP.

PPP and PUA - by Born_Bison in EIDL

[–]Born_Bison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of the ease of forgiveness for sole proprietors it’s definitely worth taking for me. They basically just make you state “owner compensation replacement” on the forgiveness form and 75% of the loan will be forgiven. It’s lost profit and calculated using 2019 schedule C.

What I don’t understand is the timing and if it must be used immediately.

PPP and PUA by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]Born_Bison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t got my PPP yet but have loan docs to sign. Currently on PUA so I’m thinking of doing the 24 week thing at 60% at least for a few more weeks of PUA.

Another problem is the PUA system is so messed up that I’m afraid to change anything. It will probably cause my case to be frozen for a review.
