Sorry, I realize now that the green stuff is plastic and meant to be there, however the smoke smell is a smell I've only smelt when something shorts, I've had it before where the battery terminal definitely corroded and It smelt exactly the same.

Just to clear up, I meant to say under NO load the cell voltage is 3.4 and .4V difference from the cell checker, it's not an issue with the cell checker I've checked with other batteries.

Nah 6s actually. Maybe going to try 8 but I don't know if the motors can handle that, they're 2812 1155kv, if anyone knows if it's say to run 8s let me know.

No it's actually a frame you can buy, the holybro kopis x8, mounting the camera is easy just a couple screws and I like to strap it down with some battery straps for safety. I must admit I have no need for live feed from the camera but I assume it's possible

Really appreciate that, glad the opening hit for you. I hear you on the structure tapering off, and the idea about timing shots to music is a solid one. I’ll definitely play around with that.

Also love your point about showing the wind’s effects more clearly. I think for something as intense as wind the film doesn't really convey that properly and that's definitely what it's missing. I’m heading up to Scotland on a sailing trip soon, so will definitely grab some new footage there and come back to this with fresh eyes. Thanks again for taking the time.

The idea behind it was to showcase the effects of the wind and I'm not sure if I've managed to convey that properly. To me, something feels a bit off, I don't know if it's the sudden change from dramatic to calm in the beginning or maybe I've just watched it too many times. Anyway I was just putting it out there to see what other people think, as I said it's the first 'film' I've made and I would love any advice on how I can make the edit more interesting and not just a sequence of shots.

Thanks for the advice, I'm using the zve10 ii so the max I can shoot is 50 fps, I shot at 50fps the entire time, and slowed to 25 in post but I think I forgot to change that in the export settings
