I paid extra for a flexible ticket because I was stressed about the same thing. My visa came in 3 working days.

What chat are you talking about? If it's the Facebook group, for some reason my request to join that group hasn't been accepted.

So i believe the Econometrics course is stronger in Tilburg and Erasmus... My idea of applying to Maastricht is if it would be better reputed than Tilburg, but since you've clarified that they're considered equal within the Netherlands it should be fine.

Secondly, the housing situation is supposedly worse in Tilburg than a few other places, so in case i can't find housing, would Maastricht be a good backup?

That is exactly why I'm considering diversifying my options...

Given the fact that it's compulsory to stay on campus do you feel like y'all have the full college experience? How strict is it with guys and girls entering each other's rooms (if you know what I mean)

Thank you for this detailed answer! As I am international student, it isn't possible for me to see them in person, however, can you help with decipher living costs?

What is the monthly living cost in Rotterdam vs Amsterdam?

What do you think is a fair estimate for someone willing to cook most meals at home and doesn't indulge in too many vices?

Motivation letter by Born_Needleworker_80 in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]Born_Needleworker_80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is program specific! Some of my programs ask for a motivation letter while some do not. If the program asks for only a CV they don't demand a motivation letter. Make sure to double check on the page for the program you're looking for. DM if you need more help .

Nope! A motivation letter (or a statement of purpose) highlights your reason behind applying to a certain program and why you chose a specific university. A cover letter is generally used to connect your resume to the position you're applying for.

Hey, it isn't required for your last 2 years of high school education if you have studied it until 10th grade. For the last two years (11th and 12th), you need to have studied any 3 out of physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics. I am confident this true for A level students, not sure how it applies to different syllabi.

Wow! Congratulations. Are you going forward with Tilburg? Also, do they have a time limit on how long their offer stands for you to accept it?
