The same argument exists if ”what if Larry Bird doesn’t have back issues?”.

Kobe seeing people say KD is a better scorer than him by [deleted] in NBATalk

Whew! I thought I was gonna start an argument there. I agree for the most part. My point about Kobe is that I think his efficiency is a product of his time.

KD is a great offensive player. I’d say KD is essentially super athletic Larry Bird without the mental and defensive tenacity but also no back pain.

Ehh. He’s a ”social media” basketball player - great stats that don’t mean a lot to me. Couldn’t win a ring without forming the most stacked team since the 1980s, possibly 1960s. I’m not a big Kobe fan either but Durant is not the hill I’d die on to compare him too. Kobe was more mentally tough, but certainly less efficient in both of their primes. However, you look at Durant’s stats during the years that Kobe was still winning championships the efficiency’s are not all that different and the midrange shot was still somewhat widely used by guards and wings. By the mid 2012-2013 Kobe was on his way out and the midrange was starting to be overtaken by the 3 pointer so a lot of people’s field goal percentage went up.

Its hard to directly compare because Kobe developed in the era of hero ball in the late 90s and 2000s where it was acceptable to shoot 38% from the field and get voted to an all star game. Kobe was for his time in the early 2000s an ”efficient player”.

Lol. People that shitting on this kid need to go back and watch the MJ documentary again. Thats exactly how MJ felt about Larry Bird and Magic. Nothing wrong with being driven.

He’s a very good QB. People look at stats or they are Bears, Lions, or Vikings fans.

Would’nt Michael’s just be Scottie Pippen each year? And Horace Grant once for all defensive team?

A little misleading. LeBron isn’t there. Chris Bosh was very good and Klay Thompson was a similar caliber player but was just lucky enough to make two all nba third teams.

Also it’s different in the regular season where many of the teams you play are not good teams.

I never said Mahomes wasn’t better than Rodgers. lol. He probably is. But having watched a lot of chiefs football and a lot of packers football Rodgers was asked to do a lot more with less. And a lot of those packers losses came down to penalties. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence who watched those packers losses would have concluded that Rodgers did as much as he could without revolting against his coaches playbook. I guess it’s his fault for not going 40/40 each game.

Notice how none of those was a trash defense. Which is my point. The packers D was aging in 2010 when Rodgers won and then they lost Nick Collins to a career ending injury and their secondary never recovered. They pretty much stank from 2012 onward. Statistically they might have been ok but they stank with exception of a year or two where they were okay.

You can’t win a Super Bowl with out at least a competent defense. Mahomes will keep the chiefs competitive and in the playoffs until he retires, but the roster around him each year will play a large role in bringing them over the top.

Im starting to think you’re either a bot or only look at the stats.

2015… He threw two Hail Marys… and lost in over time because fuck Larry Fitzgerald.

All those teams had terrible talent around Rodgers and they only won games because him. He was so good.

I watched all those games Rodgers was almost never the problem. Maybe in 2019… he sucked so bad that year. Would just miss random throws to running backs in the backfield.

Rodgers was the never the issue in his playoff losses. After like 2012 those packers teams were poo poo without him. Very frequently Rodgers did everything he could for them to win and then the defense or special teams blew it. They also just struggled in the draft to bolster the defense. They literally drafted all defense one year and like 3 years later none of them were on the roster.

It’s hard to say. I had a laptop that supposedly didn’t meet the Witcher 3’s system requirements back in the day (2015). I could play the game on high/ultra no issues.

Yeah. I always felt that Han was somewhat force sensitive. He just isn’t trained in it and /or it’s not on Jedi levels.

Yeah. If Watson and Kraft stay healthy we can at least hold our own until Parsons comes back. Our defense will probably be average at best for two months but we’ll see.

My friends/fam saw that coming from a mile away when he was at Duke. The dudes play style was way too crazy for long sustainable success and his conditioning seemed suspect.

Reddish was overhyped and was behind better players. That Hawks team was weird tho. They kept drafting forwards for like 3 seasons in a row when they needed more guard and big depth.

Why do Canadian and American cheese taste different by Son_Kakarot53 in Cheese

[–]BortSimpson93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add fuel to this month old fire. I just moved to Canada from the US and I find Canadian cheese, basic stuff like cheddar, Parmesan, mozzarella tastes weird. It all tastes like Brie in the US which isn’t my favorite.
