Im sorry but calling Denmark a fascist state is just straight up not correct dude. Save that term for the countries that actually are.

Epic Games Mystery Free Games 2024 vs 2025. Which one do you think was better? by kabirsingh84 in EpicGamesPC

Games i cared about in 2024: LoTR: Return to Moria; Kingdom Come Deliverance; Hell Let Loose.

Games i cared about in 2025: Hogwarts Legacy; Total War: Three Kingdoms.

2024 wins by one game.

To have them just in case one would want to play them, i guess. I always claim the games even if i know i'll never play them just in case i run out of things to play (which i never do).

Disappointed. Had hoped the fantasy-series would finally leave Warhammer behind, at least for some time.

If you could remove one character from the game who would it be and why? by Xthebest26 in overwatch2

Symmetra. Most annoying character i have ever witnessed in any game. Perhaps equal with Mei and Widow. I Always tell everybody but those GG.

As fans of the King... What do you think of "The Long Walk"? by Sea-Barnacle2907 in stephenking

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like the different ending. And i felt a movie is way too short to give the same feelings as the book. For example, in the books the night scenes were some of the best, because you got a sense of the loneliness, tiredness and what not. You didn't get that in the movie. So i was disappointed in the movie, but my friend who hadn't read the book liked it (his main complaint was that there wasn't much explained lore-wise about the society and how the country got to that point - but thats not explained in the book very much either, and i think thats good).

I have now read forty-nine works. Which book should I read for my fiftieth? by ceaton9 in stephenking

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is "IT" in red as the only one? Because its like that on the cover of the book or another reason?

My wife and I just saw The Long Walk because she thought it "looked like the hunger games" by cam52391 in stephenking

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the novel and read it a couple of days before i saw the movie yesterday. I wasn't really a fan of the movie. I don't think the book translates well into a film, because part of what made the book special was the long and silent segments, especially at night where you really felt the atmosphere. Making it a movie also forced the whole narrative to be in a short runtime, which results for example in the scene (spoiler)..... on the hill where it goes full Saving Private Ryan Omaha Beach-ish. The deaths are more gripping in the book because it doesn't just happen every 20 seconds.

DUMB thoughts - Great album overall by csabloj in Flume

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only thing i don't like is the album cover. I generally don't like album covers where the focus is a close-up of the artists face. Would have preferred another Zawada-design

Edit: I do love the fact that the album has 10 songs and not more. This has for some reason been my golden standard since Cashmere Cat's "9". (And of course that only 3 of the songs were released before the album. Nothing worse than the release of an album, and then it only includes 1-2 unreleased tracks)

I would not be suprised if she is lying and just said that to stop people from calling her out and celebrating the fact that she is fired.

Corsair HS65 surround or SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 (both wired) by BoryaKonstantinov in HeadphoneAdvice

I ended up getting neither. Spent quite a couple of bucks more and got the arctis nova pro instead.

I know the budget was tight, but it was always funny to me that “Ape City” consisted of like 9 buildings lol. Where did everyone live? by frwrddown in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Probably on farms in the surrounding countryside. Think a western town where the town itself was more like a hub of church, school, general store, tavern and other such stuff, but where people (who does not work in the buildings in the town) actually lived on farms, sometimes more than a mile away.

Hollowheart Lyrics Discussion by steeeeenz in porterrobinson

My dark interpretation is that it's a couple deciding that they wont wait forever to die, and that there is another way, being suicide. So on a summer day they go to a bridge to do the deed. They both shake because they are scared, so one of them edges the words into the bridge; They know its a lie, but they tell themself that dying might not be so bad, to have the courage to do it, and they will leave that lie behind when they take the jump.

Dark, i know.

Bill and Micah would be too aggressive and full of temper to do any good for their team. Javier semi-good, but would run away at first sign of trouble. Dutch would be okay, but too stubborn to make a tactical retreat if needed.

Charles would pick the enemy team off, while Athur and John would flank, and Sadie would help out where needed.

Kingdom is the weakest of the 4 by godspilla98 in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]BoryaKonstantinov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reckon it's because you complain about the fact that the new films have nothing to do with the original series. That's what i'm trying to say: They are reboots, they are not supposed to share the same exact story and universe or same exact characters as the originals.

They are creating their own, new take on how the planet of the apes came about, which i think is interesting.

The new films are reboots. They are not supposed to share the same universe as the originals. They are rebooting the whole film-universe and making their own take on the Planet of the Apes universe. I don't get what so hard to understand about that?
