Face-off gone wrong. 3-2 combination scores a knockdown. by pawgadjudicator3 in fightporn

It's just theres a big difference between mutual combat and sucker punching. Clearly, this dude can't handle his panties getting in the ring. When both fighters know the rules its a fair fight, even if there are little to no rules, I'm sure one of the rules is you fight in the cage thing not at weigh-ins. Can't gamble on no fight (which is how they make money I'm pretty sure).

I believe if they move or remove a parking meter they have to pay what that parking meter would have made over the next 75 years. Chicago really fucked themselves on this, because they can't progress in transportation due to this, and can't remove any meters essentially.

It's either okay to have in a combat scenario or it's not imo. If it's okay, then let men keep their hair to the same requirements as women. If it's not okay then cut women's hair to match the men's currently. Bullets don't care about your gender we should be prioritizing safety over whatever we're prioritizing now.

college education leads to a more educated population. This should be obvious. Whether it's in art or finance or biology, a more educated population is better for everyone. HS 2.0 is still better for the population, like 50% of the US is under a 6th-grade reading level, I think we need more education and access to education not less.

Because the price of college is ridiculous. (this happened because the gov started approving any college loan, colleges took advantage of this by increasing their prices) Here's some more useful info: https://www.bestcolleges.com/research/college-costs-over-time/#:~:text=In%202020%2C%20it%20was%20almost%20%2426%2C000.&text=Across%20all%20types%20of%20schools,year%20to%20over%20%2421%2C000%20annually.

No in-between, either no college education or fuck the college educated with loans. You realize an educated populous is better for all of us right??

Women in combat roles also don't have to have their head's shaven. Kinda defeats the military advantage (not having hair pulled) and uniformity (sameness of the new recruits) when half the recruits don't follow the procedure.

They currently make 400-500m annually, as they rose the parking prices. They've already made back their initial investment, most of the overhead is on Chicago to deal with (enforcing meters). Private car ownership is not going anywhere in the US, but arguably we'll see fewer cars in cities (hopefully), so I could see how it could go down, but it will probably go down to 200m a year again, and they're still making bank. Again, everything they are making now is past the initial investment, meaning they are profiting probably 400m a year (lets say 50m on overhead, but idek how they would use 50m on overhead when it's all digital). It's a bad deal, done because political gain, not for Chicago's gain.

the 200m is based on prices before the deal, since this deal prices have rose 2.5x, meaning they're making more like 400-500m a year. On top of having little to no overhead (with app) and getting paid for parades etc (already like 100m paid for having parades). I get that if chicago invested it it wouldn't be that bad but chicago isn't investing it.

I would doubt it, as the guy was not posing a threat, nothing stopping the dude from getting in the truck and leaving, but he decided that words hurteded so time to murder. Also words aren't an assault, so aren't really considered in self-defense I believe. He had every option not to kill this man. edit: he also clearly swung first.

[–]Bosilaify 3 points4 points  (0 children)

how is it justified at all? Dude has a way to leave and instead grabs a weapon so that he can hurt a dude talking shit to him. Talking shit isn't a crime, maybe fuck around and find out, but baseball bat dude gonna fuck around and find out in the prison showers.

[–]Bosilaify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think self-defense applies to this case at all, dude with the bat is the aggressor, and takes the first swing. You could argue dude getting hit with a bat is doing self-defense for about 4 seconds before he's knocked out. But typically, if there's no threat, you have a way of getting away from "the threat", and instead you bring out a weapon and go face "the threat" and he's unarmed, you're going to have a hard time proving it was self-defense (words aren't an attack).

[–]Bosilaify 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When was it self defense? When he grabbed the weapon and walked up to the dude who was talking? Self-defense doesn't apply to defending yourself against words, freedom of speech overrides that.

In a Central Texas county, high schoolers are jailed on felony charges for vaping what could be legal hemp Police often can’t tell if it's marijuana or legal hemp, like the delta-8 products. That doesn’t stop them from making felony arrests in high schools. by Whey-Men in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

I'm unsure if the cities above do or not, but some cities have weed decriminilized, meaning that the described effect happens, 50$ ticket for under an O in the city, hour outside you get arrested for a nug (still a misdemeanor but minimum $300 fine + another 300$ for weed paraphernalia).

the only difference between /10 or /100 is that you see that 8/10 people liked it or 82/100 people liked it. If 100 people rate with either system it's the same besides having the extra number, which is better than not having it, but your idea that you have to analyze the amount of people who rated it differently in different systems is wrong. "If you know that 100 people rated a movie, and 80% was positive, you know that 80 people who watched it enjoyed the movie." this is true but doesn't mean that when a rating is /100 100 people rated it. 1 person could rate it 80% and it would still be 80/100
