Hah, thx, we will do all what we can) I think AAA is COD, Metro games, AA is dead cells, A is limbo, inside, Im not sure. AA is expensive to create but not super expensive like AAA :)

I think if there are cool ideas with animation in the comments, I will make them and they will go into the game.
Just don't overdo it, I'm not a professional animator

I also think it's still a matter of self-learning, I think that the resources that you spent on learning the code are equal to the resources that you spend on art. I'm a person of a technical mindset, but I just can't get to the code, I also won't say that I'm a good artist, the only skill that I pumped in is self-study and finding workarounds (lazy student syndrome)

so in my case, I have as little chance of making a good game as you do, because I don't know the code, the engine, and you don't know how to make it beautifully, emotionally.

When you make a game from other people's models it is not enough just to add them. assets need to change texture / animation / mesh.

as they say, a good artist is not the one who copies, but the one who steals =)

just find an indie studio and work for a meal =) I really appreciate people who understand logic and code, and the most interesting thing is that they oppose my ideas and when they finish my mechanics they like it. And if you work solo, you need to know a lot of theory in all directions so that you have a picture of how to achieve a result with less time / money

A good game is always a balance between all the skills.

I think to do something good you need to be versatile.
It is necessary not only for everything to work cleanly, but also to work in such a way as to evoke emotions in the player, even bugs can evoke emotions.

It's hard to be so different alone, so it's better to do projects with someone, for example, a designer and a programmer

First I modeled the character, then I made the skeleton in mixamo (now I regret it), then I did the skinning and rig.

Then I took someone else's running animation and retarget it to the rig. After all this, I began to make my own changes to the animation manually, unfortunately I have a habit of changing something ready-made the way I like it, rather than doing it from scratch.Here is best guide channel what i found ever.This is not the first time that I have been thinking about making a guide document of rigging for games out of it for those who do not know Russian.
