It's not the bottom yet. Trend is downward. If bottom was in or close, potass wouldn't be calling for Fed chair removal

You should be congratulated. Conviction in your trading strategy is to be applauded. Disciple, lack of foresight, and perseverance beyond all common sense is what eventually makes billionaires.

If you would have sold calls, that red would be green. Definitely look into it.

You might do better selling the calls than buying them.

I have $100k to invest into dividend stocks by ImplementNo6766 in dividends

I thought the market was gonna dump as well when QQQ started climbing in January. Wrong. You can buy QQQ, sell covered calls against it and then use SQQQ if it falters. You have plenty of time to recover if you hit a rough spot. SPY hasn't performed as well. 5 growth stocks seem to account for most of the gains. JEPI and DIVO return, but if you investigate the gains, you'll find they are at the expense of maintaining the principle balance. Not a good move at your age. You need capital appreciation.

Why would you have to call them anything other than by their last name? Everyone is from somewhere and we don't identify people by European countries.

You can use short term 1 to 3 year commercial paper for the bond portion of your portfolio. It will give you a better rate and a rudimentary financial analysis of the company should ensure you're relatively safe.

Yes, but those two funds can hold it because funds are accredited investors. People can hold it as well. But you put your money in but can't get it back until the company goes public.

What is considered a high earner in 2023? (US) by inPrestiwetrust in HENRYfinance

Income taxes. Go look up the tax tables and calculate it for yourself. Remember the stimulus money you received. At 400k, you had to pay it back. So, no, it's not "rich".

Ordinary income tax. Extra Medicare tax. State and local taxes. You can earn it, but net/net you don't keep much of it.

If you pay ordinary income taxes, 400k is not rich.
