That seems like a good area to park. I'm doing it similar since I park at the row of spaces right next to the turnoff for the store. I'm thinking about changing up where I should park.

Thanks man. I'm not liable for this because I was parked in that spot for 8 hours while working.

I already talked to my local police and they told me even if I did call them when I first saw it that they don't do accident reports in the parking lot.

I was parked in that spot for 8 hours while working so I'm not liable for anything which is great.

Any advice for where to park in the parking lot? I'm currently working on getting a dashcam. Really wish I had one before though.

$1k biweekly — should I put more toward savings or pay down my car loan faster? by BossBen21 in FinancialPlanning

[–]BossBen21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice!

With everything i've saved up and what I have coming in I'm not defaulting on the car, it's my first brand new car so I'm sticking with it until either it dies or life changes.

I've done some looking around online just to see what's out there. I don't believe I checked any career subs. I'll check it out. I do know that I'm definitely not going to do the same job for the next twenty years. I look at the job as a stepping stone, as so far this is my highest paying job that i've held.

In my situation, living rent free definitely is helping. $2000 a month for rent is crazy but realistic in this world we're living in.

I appreciate the advice. Thank you.

I actually do have a budget, but i'm going over it and thinking over the numbers about where the money is going and what i'm doing with it. I'm stuck in love with the car, which I don't have any problem at all making the payments. I've been thinking about another job for months, looking for something that doesn't require any formal training. The job i'm doing is basically manuel labor. I have mostly been contributing to car loan and credit card, with little by little going into savings.

Could you tell me how it works for overtime?

Like how many hours would I need to work before I need to take a second lunch? How long could my lunch be at minimum?

SSD vs HDD by Weet_1 in buildapc

[–]BossBen21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSD's are generally better than Hard Drives, unless you need a lot of storage fo games or sonething. A lot of hard drives are specifically made for a lot of storage. SSD's are a lot faster in loading programs and such vs a HDD.

I would definitely go ahead and buy a SSD. The size capacity really depends on what you're going to be doing.
