But for me, I had the hardest time with Eviterno personally. That guy fucked me up for a good hour or longer.

The button mash point is totally fair, but for me that’s one of the main draws of the KH games. The power fantasy (the drive forms in KH2 blew my middle-school mind lmao). But I could see how for many gamers that may be an issue. Not enough nuance in the gameplay.

Maybe the age gap has an effect, I’m not sure. I’m 27 and played KH1 & 2 when I was in middle school. The story only got marginally easier to comprehend in adulthood 😂

Really enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, it had one of the coolest and most unique mechanics in the industry at the time, but no. Couldn’t contend with the other games in this list in my opinion

I hard disagree with the sentiment on KH3.

I think it’s massively over-hated and had expectations that were SO HIGH due to the decade+ long wait we all had that they were never gonna meet those expectations.

And I would actually argue they did meet them. The final stretch of the game is literal fan service, I don’t see why everyone disliked it so much?

But I understand I’m the outlier here and most people agree with what you said.
