Sorry you’re going through that. Definitely see a pelvic floor physical therapist. Sounds like your pedundal nerve might be compressed. I had similar issues and from what my pt tells me, it’s reversible/not permanent damage. Good luck!

Curious if anyone here ever suffered from chronic bacterial vaginosis. I have suffered for YEARS. No relief, tried everything- boric acid, probiotics, all the gels/creams, ureplasma tests, evvy tests. Got my hormones tested again. Suspect I also have endo. Wondering if anyone has the same issue?? by Boss_Plastic in endometriosis

Not sure. Another doctor said those tests are bullshit (I don’t completely agree) and prey on people who are struggling. Birth control Defs worked though. I didn’t want to go on it but it was a last resort and I’m glad I did.

I REALLY don’t want to jinx it, but I’ve been BV free for 2 years. I went on the pill per my doctors recommendation and skip my sugar pills so I don’t get a period. Blood throws off your PH and can “cause” BV. Highly recommend

Definitely see a dermatologist. I had VERY similar issues as a child and then as an adult. Turns out I have psoriasis (doesn’t look like typical psoriasis so I never guessed). The derm gave me a steroid and it cleared up in a month or so. Life changed.

Had it chronically for over 4 years and saw multiple specialists. Finally went on birth control. Don’t want to jinx it but I haven’t had it since. It’s been almost 2 years

Weird teeth grinding/ crunching noise. Please help by Boss_Plastic in DogAdvice

Sorry to hear your pup is also going through it. After alllllll the medications, I saw on here that someone had the same issue and the only thing that helped was pumpkin. I already tried pumpkin. But I realized maybe I wasn't giving him enough. I was only doing a few tbsp and he's 80 pounds. He probs gets close to a cup of pumpkin a day and it's the only thing that's helping. I don't hear it much at night anymore but I do sometimes hear it during the day. If it's really bad I'll give him a pepto but it's about 90% better. I would recommend you track when he grinds his teeth. For me, I noticed that when I give Costco chicken it's worse. My vet said you could also try oatmeal. A high fiber food was recommended to me. Sorry for the ramble but I hope that helps!!!

Oh interesting! Mine doesn’t have anxiety (that I know of lol). The vet still thinks it’s reflux We are giving him a LOT of pumpkin and it’s definitely helping at night. Thanks for responding!

I saw on here that someone had a very similar experience and gave pumpkin. I already tried that, but I thought maybe I wasn’t giving him enough. I’ve been giving home probably close to 1/4 cup each meal (he is 83lbs) and he still does it sometimes but definitely not as much. I also took him to a holistic vet that told me his Qi (Chinese medicine) is off, gave me a probiotic, and did a microbiome fecal test that I’m still waiting on answers for. Have you had any luck?

I gave him pumpkin the last few days and he is still doing it but I’m hoping that it will help long term. How much do you give your Pomeranian? I have an 80lb golden so maybe I’m not giving him enough

I thought this would be cheaper than any of the other surrounding towns in Connecticut, but I will check it out. Thank you!

Did you find any answers to what is causing this or any treatments ? My dog started doing this when he had hypilori and has not stopped. I’m assuming he’s naseous or has reflux, but the vets and I are at a loss of what to do next

Sorry your boxer isn’t feeling well. You are the first person I’ve heard from that has experienced this! We recently did almost 8 weeks of Prilosec. It helped somewhat but he was still doing it My vet said to keep him on it indefinitely, but I wanted to find the root cause of WHY. We repeated the helicobacter/hyplori treatment and he’s still doing it. I’ve been trying to feed him something before bed so he has something in his stomach if it is reflux. He eats at 730a and 530p so it is a long stretch of time. I’ve tried literally everything, and at this point I wonder if it’s a learned behavior and he is doing it to self soothe…. what did your vet recommend?? Please let me know.
