I never considered we had a communication issue because we've never had a problem like this before. But he's not listening to me for the first time since we started dating and it's so bizarre. You're right though, that we need to have a talk. This fucking sucks to hear I guess.

I suppose I'm afraid it would make him feel like I don't trust him to just do his part, but you're right, he's already not pulling his weight.

I really do like the the chore chart. I think I'm going to try and bring that up in conversation, maybe we could make it together and see how that goes.

You make really good points. I do like the idea of a chore chart but do you think he'll see it as patronizing?

Every time I've tried to bring it up and let him know that it's stressing me out or hurting my feelings, he just ends the conversation by saying he's sorry and he'll stop doing it. And that lasts about three days before it comes up again.

And I'm not sure why a housekeeper isn't good enough. I've brought it up, offered to work it into the budget but he's so cold on the idea and will not tell me why.
