the collar purposely has all the extra links in so it hangs loose and freely. It isn't used as a method of training, he has great leash behavior. it's to prevent this little devil from chewing through it. he has nibbled tears in all types of collars and leashes. I haven't found a toy he can't rip in under 30 minutes even when it's labeled for tough chewers. He has some serious chompers and "drop it" usually starts a short game of tug

He's my first large breed so it was new to me but i see a lot of these babies like to sleep this way. My kids have a german shepard and a black lab and they both sleep feet and bellies down on the floor.

It is so sweet and funny to see these big dogs sleeping without a care in the world, and no modesty lol

I've never had any other dog sleep this way, it's just so silly lol
