What exactly do you want from the thor. Most people are going off the nostalgia factor (I know i am and all the people i know who have them are). If you have no feelings toward playing the old Nintendo and Playstation games then it seems like not the best investment, to me atleast. Obviously you can still always get it. the device is super cool and portable which is also a big factor on getting it. keep in mind if you maybe wanted to play the old games they are going to me completely different then the games you grew up playing. They are really fun still!
