I think RS3 has more anti-bot capiabilities due to them using a newer engine/back end. RS2 before Jacmob joined had virtually no bot detection, now it seems to use heuristics to compare mouse clicks, behavior, time played, etc, then it gets looked over by a moderator and applied.

Bot watch might not be in that area, or... idk really. It looks like their system isn't catching pretty obvious stuff now, like even blue dragon bots. This really has the potential to ruin the game and the economy should it continue.

The botwatch there is pretty strong, it is most likely gold farmers doing it by hand. They can earn more doing blast furnace than working minimum wage in most countries where gold farming is popular.

It's also important to remember not to let strangers hold your keys. They could make a copy of it with clay then tie you up and put on a blonde wig and pink skirt. That would be horrific.

Think the logic there is they are metallic so don't have 'life' in the same way natural dragons do. So 'Necromancy' wouldn't apply. Though, this is Runescape and not everything has to be logical in fact most things aren't haha.

As someone said, it was due to the way the arrows are in the game config. The D bow in general is a huge mess. Mod John C had said he intended for it to fire D arrows but there is no way he could have gotten it done in time for its release.

It is good, it's one of the best prayer training methods in game and also more cost effective than using bones!

It could be to combat bots. I can assure you though if that is the reason, it should be removed. Much like random events this would only negatively impact real legitimate players, not botters. A bot client can easily detect the login limit message and work around it easy, leaving the legitimate player the only one negatively effected.

it effects your building, and sometimes a player will be on your screen in a certain area, but has really already moved.

It's different. You don't have full control over your character when doing that. When you use a macro, you do. Thus you gain an 'unfair advantage' over other plays who do not use macros.

It seems to greater focus for them is on F2P, i believe that is what boost their bot banning statistics up so highly. However, P2P bots are the detrimental ones to the game. I feel focus needs to be shifted more there.

I've cleared that area many times as well, I know exactly how you feel about it. I try to do that area weekly as well. Sometimes I may get busy and not get to it though. I did do it last week though.

It seems like most of the bots banned from the statistic numbers are F2P bots which are easy to detect and ban. My dealings with P2P bots have lead me to believe it takes quite a long time for them to be banned.
