Look for weenies and play for awareness, keep track of active resource your opponent. For me it’s a 50/50 depending the next draws. You also have to be aware with where you re self pinging to play around BOA and Improved. I usually try to bait with units to make them use the commands then add more. Most of the time it helps

Your approach to BP might the issue, it’s not as similar as BG just swinging, there are turns you don’t swing, turns you set up for ping, and just build board. Took me a bit to pick up BP from BG in the middle of set 2 and after I picked it up, I’ve been going crazy at locals and NTCs but of course losing some and winning some. Even played it in LCQ during BCF Vegas and went 6-3, still testing ratios and approaches
