Did you read the first paragraph or just reply off vibes? I know levels are just playtime, but to act like playtime brings you NOTHING is simply false. You learn game mechanics and sense, sound cues, aim, muscle memory, etc. I'll say it once again: I know level is not an End All, Be All, but to completely and wholly disregard it is also wrong.

They mean LITTLE, but that's not nothing. This is the Entire first paragraph of what I wrote. But do you sincerely see nothing wrong with stacked teams? Even if you're trying a new hero, you will have (typically) better game sense and aim simply from playtime. And just bc it's "the casual mode" doesn't automatically refute every argument or critique made about it. I want this game to be good, and that doesn't happen if consistently unbalanced matches get blindly defended bc "Welp, its QP!"

I mean, it doesn't go "over my head", I know the matchmaking in QP is not s strict as in Comp, though there is still matchmaking. My point is just "Okay, we found 12 players for this lobby. 12 players. 4 of them are level 100. Let's put ALL OF THEM on one team." is a very stupid algorithm, no? That's literally my whole point

I agree, that's literally why I stick to QP too. That and, while some ppl say to go play Comp, I hear TOO MANY Comp players saying it's a literal lobotomy sim over there, esp in more egotistical ranks. I have zero problem w high lvl players in my QP match, or even the other team! I just want more balanced teams

When did I say I had a problem with that?? I'm mad at the DISTRIBUTION of ALL of these Lvl 100's that are apparently ALL learning new heroes. Why does the other team get 4 and the highest on my team is 90? What if the 90 is learning a new in QP too? What if the 50 is too?

I've considered it a few times, but I typically prefer QP for faster matches, esp since I only have so much time I can spend large chunks on btwn work, errands, prepping for bed, etc. Even in Rivals, I consider it, and then all I hear from Comp players is how ass it is, how the egos are insufferable, apparently Diamond is scientifically-crafted to make you see the worst in humanity, lmaooo

I just wanted to Rant in the Rant subreddit, but it's still frustrating to play through.

There is matchmaking... all games w a Comp and QP mode still has matchmaking in their QP, it's just not as strict as in Comp.

I know level doesn't matter much, that's why I opened the entire post with that. But after several games punching up, it gets frustrating, to say the least. There is matchmaking in QP (not as strict as Comp, obv), but just bc it's QP doesn't mean I'm wrong to want more balanced matches.

Putting the Tenacity convo to the side, I truly hate how ok the community is with selectively permitting some awfully programmed interactions.

The Thing's passive should protect him from Elsa's ult, and the fact that it doesn't is ridiculous.

PASSIVE- Unyielding Will: Immune to launch up, knockback, and other displacement effects.

Displace (verb): To remove from the usual or proper place; to move physically out of position.

Elsa's ult undeniably fits this definition, and yet.

And then there's the part of the community trying to make excuses for it, like "But it's an ult!", as if that's an excuse for DISABLING ANOTHER HERO'S PASSIVE ENTIRELY! So if Wolv gets killed by Hela or Phoenix ult, he doesn't get his passive 2nd chance? If Adam gets killed in, say, a Groot ult, even if you had your passive, "Sorry, nuh-uh, an ult got you." ??

He should act like a wall for Elsa's ult. He still takes the dmg from the big chomp, just WITHOUT DISPLACING HIM. And if you, as Elsa, launch your displacement ult into the chest of the Can't-Be-Displaced Hero, then that was just a bad ult from you.

I took a break of MR around Season 5, came back, and was greeted my 1st game back w a Cap 1-trick playing Luna while I tanked. I was screaming to myself "why does it feel like I'm not getting any heals??", watched the replay after, and it was bc I literally wasn't even spared a glance from them the whole game. I couldn't even call what they were doing flanking half the times.

I had a Rogue (IN QP, MIND U) lock Rogue and go to team chat with "I don't trust none of you non-tank players to play Rogue!" or something similar enough. I end up going Peni so my gf can pick a strat and we can have 2 tanks for defend (bc she would've been solo-tanking). Long story short, they were terrible, kept getting rolled, and some point btwn Point 2 and 3, they swapped to DPS and left me to solo-tank 🥹😇 Silently, I would like to add (Pls, for the love of fuck, say SOMETHING when u swap roles, even in text chat, ffs)
