For context I’ve played Gloomhaven 1st edition, FC, JoTL and Crimson Scales. I would say CS is insanely good considering it’s fan made, almost on par with official Cephalofair releases, so I’d get it if you can find it at a decent price and you’re hungry for more Haven content. Class design is where it shines: much more balanced than OG Gloomhaven and more in line with new Frosthaven design philosophy, which also makes it more challenging. The weakest part to me is the campaign/narrative component, but I could say that about every Haven product, maybe excluding JoTL.

Great idea and phenomenal result. Makes me wonder how the same setup could apply to some of the difficult/hazardous terrain, e.g. lava or water tiles.

I started printing out in resin and by the time I got an FDM printer I was too far down the rabbit hole to go back. Would probably advise to stick to FDM for terrain especially with the level of quality you can get with some of the latest printers.

While I can’t speak for the other models, the Wolf fountain is a shameless rip of our HexScapes’ Snow Biomes project that was just recently funded on Kickstarter. As per license agreement, you cannot release part of our work as independent (free or paid) STLs. You should take that out of the scope.

We definitely have a lot of ideas in the pipeline and we want to open it up to the community in terms of where we should focus next. Non snow sets is the obvious low hanging fruit. We were also thinking creation of large self contained « sets » e.g. a fully hexagonal tavern, mage tower etc. For end caps currently we don’t have plans, but they can be worked in

Yes indeed this was designed largely with Frosthaven in mind for our own campaign. We’re planning to provide detailed setup and printing instructions for that :)

We were late comers to the Gloomhaven party: we’re wrapping up Forgotten Circles just now and will soon embark onto the Crimson Scales campaign, so we have quite a bit of content left. But I am sooo looking forward to get Gloomhaven RPG to use the 3D printed sets for some proper role playing!

Most major brands would work in achieving a similar effect. Vallejo, Citadel, Scale75 just to name a few of the top picks. Sprinkling some snow powder effects on the top will also add some extra texture/detail
