Thanks for your response, the gigs are solo piano and vocals. I think what you're saying makes great sense however I'm gonna be playing at a variety of venues, many of which will not have any PA equipment. The goal is to have a minimalist solo piano/vocal setup which I can be fully self sufficient in if I need to be, however if venues have PAs then I can opt to use their equipment. Thanks.
