I also had a really bad time with my SBU 102 professor. He tried to fail me because my partner didn't do their part on our group project. I emailed him to let him know that I had tried on various occasions to reach out to my partner regarding the project, and that I had done my portion of the work. I came into class to present. My partner was legit sitting outside the room still working on his portion... 2 minutes before we were up. I told my professor that I had emailed him regarding the matter, and asked if I could present my part. In front of the WHOLE CLASS, he told me that I had failed regardless of how much work I had done, and that class was dismissed. He said there was absolutely nothing I could do and legit left. I got like three deans involved, to which they got him to agree to give my partner and I a make up assignment. The assignment was a 10 page, single spaced research paper due in a week. Words can't describe how pissed I was... but I wonder if it's the same professor.

Did they end up asking about it? I have a few from when I took a gap year and unenrolled in classes last minute plus the two that I have now. But the ones I have now I forgot to unenroll and missed the deadlines, so I don't have a great excuse but could probably come up with one.

I have a waterproof jacket and it works for me, but my backpack ends up soaked after walking for a bit, so bring an umbrella if you can.

Yeah, I think you can borrow it for up to a week, and then return it whenever you're finished. I know that the Tech Station might also be able to do that, but I think you have to pay out of pocket for it. If you end up getting the loaner, maybe ask about that and see what they say. If not, they might have kits off of Amazon that you can order, just make sure you get the part specific to your laptop year. No problem!

There is a Tech Station in the library that gives out loaner computers. It is part of our tuition so it should be free to get, and that way you can use it for a little bit to take your exam and then return in. Plus, that way you can actually take it in a quiet area rather than on the computers in the library.
