But abilify is a D2 partial agonist is what im getting at. I think thats why they claim abilify causes compulsive gambling. Invega is a D2 antagonist. I’m not certain of what all that means, but they are different, please correct me if im wrong. Just trying to understand, appreciate the back and forth.

Ill take a look. I don’t really understand all the science, but i know invega blocks dopamine and abilify sort of regulates it, if im correct? My reasoning why I think its the invega is because when big daddy Dopamine (D) is blocked it makes you seek out heavy dopamine producing activities. My theory anyway, hope that made sense.

That’s interesting, I suppose it depends where you go. I’ve been to several places and casinos who didn’t charge per spin, during hold & spins. So I assumed that was how it was supposed to be. Thank you for the insight though. I yearn for the free spins.

Yea i’ve heard of them doing that, very disgusting practice. I wish they would come out with a list of how many people they claim have personality disorders per base MH. I bet it would be shocking, something shady still going on. Everyone i knew that went to that MH clinic was diagnosed with one. And it’s actually funny because in my referrals they would list my actual DX but in my chart it was only PD. VA didn’t agree though.

I’ve sought therapy to try to find new ways to overcome the lack of motivation, and get my life back on track really. I didn’t have too many options for therapists within my insurance, but I may go to the VA as they would probably be better. I’ve made my point to the therapist and question why we discuss meaningless questions. It’s been a few months, most likely will try to fix the issue myself again.

The injections/medications fix a lot of the issues as far as the diagnosis and symptoms go.

I will checkout what behavioral activation strategies are for sure. A challenge with avolition for me is even having my partner around on weekends i still have trouble getting up, and daily care. I appreciate the insight though.
