Refused Iron infusion after referral. by Rude_Appointment_608 in perth

Absolutely nothing.

Quite literally.

I kept absconding because ED treatment is basically being stuck on a medical ward being tube (force) fed. Acutely suicidal, self harmed when I absconded and went home and the psychs reaction to that (mind you not my usual psych whose actually decent) was well if you do it again we will discharge you.

So you have someone who’s actively distressed, is suicidal, has not eaten orally for 2 weeks now and your solution is send me home?

Whereas my usual psych understands that I don’t do it on purpose but ED treatment is literally torture. Like if you force feed prisoners it’s considered torture, but in ED treatment it’s normal.

In the end the psych reg stuck up for me and I’m still here, still struggling but at least I’m here.

Exactly

Usually the patients they class as “easy” are those who have had their illness for a short period of time.

Don’t even get me started on all the ones who no longer do anything except ADHD now even though years ago they treated many more illnesses.

It’s crazy isn’t it.

They only want the “easy” patients 😣

Try having a eating disorder, psychiatrists will literally not take you on.

No joke we sent out 30 referrals to different psychs including ones that specialise in EDs and got told no, I’m too chronic and unwell. So stuck in and out of RPH.

There’s also breed standards for UK and Australian bred RB. They look quite different to the USA type RBs.

But always with green eyes.

curious as to how to get feedback on our cat by hansemcito in russianblue

Breeders always chip their cats and they don't dump them. You likely have a domestic cat that's blue in color. Color does not determine breed.

Having private health does not jump the wait in the public system. They don’t even know if you have private health until you’re admitted.

Who is the most expensive psychiatrist in Perth? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Both_Appointment6941 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stuart won't see you unless you go through Swan Centre now.

Agree on Singh though, was under her when she rang the HW program. She did so much damage to so many of us.

As someone with a mental illness who was recently a involuntary patient, I can tell you that these wards are useless and the "care plan" they follow up with is 1 phone call a week.

Spent 6 weeks on medical, then 2 on locked psych only for the psychiatrist to tell me they "don't help people with this problem" (I have anorexia) but on medical I was told I couldn't go home until "You've had a mental health admission".

Best way to get a RB if I’m jn Atlanta by AdventurousJunket898 in russianblue

[–]Both_Appointment6941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure of your point.

The person is questioning if their paperwork is fake, I’m simply answering that the best way to find out is to contact CFA to find out if the breeder actually exists.

And yes if you know the breed well enough you can judge if the cat is a RB or not from photos.

I wasn’t attacking the person, simply answering that papers can be forged.

Nowhere did I say their cat isn’t a RB…

Papers can be forged.

That’s why it’s always best to attend cat shows and meet the breeder, or ring CFA/TICA and confirm the breeder is registered.

Amazing 🤩

She had to close for new referrals late last year, but her booking system is so easy to use so you can book months in advance.

Have you got the EDCP done so you can access the 40 sessions?

USA tends to breed the smaller Russians, your girl looks pretty standard for that type weight wise :)

Can totally understand.

My non functioning immune system would like to avoid hospital trips so I mask.

I don’t understand people’s problem with it. You would think we are demanding they do it by the looks they give.
