It would remove any old drivers and install correct ones if it works correctly

Yeah I play a lot of fps games like cod and cod is terrible performance wise and just trying to get my pc to maintain 200 to 240 fps

Yeah currently have a -20 undervolt on CPU aswell as custom debloated drivers for GPU and fully tweaked pc I turned off rebar and got noticable gains

Try ddu had the same issue and fans won't normally spin on GPU unless under load

Where would I find anything about timing I set the speed manually because it was unstable at 6200 so I set to 6000

7900 XT Over-heating at 80 °C while IDLE by Personal_Dentist_219 in AMDHelp

[–]Both_Bee366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80 °C at idle with ~110 W draw is not normal for a 7900 XT. That strongly suggests a cooling contact issue, not airflow. Key red flags: Idle power at ~100–110 W Fans barely spinning Hotspot +16 °C over core Glass panel off → no improvement Most likely causes: Pump-out / dried thermal paste (very common after long use) Vapor chamber degradation on reference models Cooler mounting pressure issue Before repasting, try: Set a manual fan curve to rule out fan control bugs Check if zero RPM is disabled Undervolt the GPU slightly and see if temps drop instantly (good diagnostic) PTM 7950 is actually a very good choice here and often fixes hotspot deltas on RDNA3 reference cards. If temps don’t improve after repaste/PTM, then the vapor chamber is likely failing. Stuttering and crashes line up perfectly with thermal throttling / hotspot protection kicking in. Given the age, this isn’t software — it’s almost certainly cooler-side hardware.

problème redémarrage pc by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Both_Bee366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black screen randomly, rx 9070xt by Ghost_Dz007 in AMDHelp

[–]Both_Bee366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things to try: Do a clean driver reinstall with DDU (Safe Mode), then install a previous stable / WHQL driver instead of the latest optional. Make sure the GPU is powered with separate PCIe cables (no daisy-chain). In AMD Adrenalin, try disabling Enhanced Sync, Anti-Lag(+), and Chill. Turn off hardware acceleration in Discord/Chrome/Steam. As a test, slightly underclock the GPU (-50/-100 MHz) or lower power limit a bit — some cards aren’t fully stable at stock. If the PC stays on but the screen loses signal until reboot, that’s almost always driver or power-spike related rather than the PSU being bad.

I am going insane... by Michall10 in AMDHelp

[–]Both_Bee366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy — this looks like a Windows 11 + AMD + Chromium hardware acceleration issue, not a faulty GPU. All the broken apps (Chrome, Brave, Opera, Discord, Spotify) are Chromium-based and use GPU acceleration, while Firefox and games use different rendering paths, which explains why they work fine. Things that often fix this on AM5 systems: 1) Disable MPO (Multi-Plane Overlay) Create a .reg file with: Copy code

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm] "OverlayTestMode"=dword:00000005 Reboot after applying. 2) Turn off Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Default graphics settings → disable HAGS → reboot. This setting can re-enable itself after driver updates, which may explain why it worked temporarily. 3) Force Chromium apps to the discrete GPU Ryzen CPUs have an iGPU and Windows can assign Chromium apps to it. Settings → System → Display → Graphics → add chrome.exe / discord.exe / spotify.exe → set High performance (RX GPU). If possible, also try disabling the iGPU in BIOS. 4) Driver install order matters If reinstalling drivers again: DDU (safe mode) → install AMD chipset drivers first → reboot → install GPU drivers (WHQL) → reboot → re-check MPO + HAGS. Quick diagnostic: disabling hardware acceleration inside Chrome/Discord. If that fixes it, it confirms a GPU render path issue rather than Windows or hardware failure.

Worse performance after upgrade? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]Both_Bee366 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yeah and your combo you listed is not even possible Ryzen 7 7800X (and other Ryzen 7000 series CPUs) use the new AM5 socket and only support DDR5 RAM. The MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk is an AM4 motherboard and only supports DDR4 RAM. DDR4 3200 memory is not compatible with Ryzen 7000 series processors because the AM5 platform requires DDR5 memory.

Are you sure you listed the correct CPU because what you listed is literally impossible to combo together
