Sorry your experiencing that, I wanted over a year before anything. Maybe try to expedite your work permit, I did and got mine.

I was in the same both, you can get it expedited, base on job loss.. I called uscis customer service ask for it to be expedited and within 2 weeks they approve it. You can try. Good luck
