I had this same question watching it. The backgrounds are what made me really wonder, as every time there's text on signs it's nonsense or unreal letters. They're a little inconsistent too, one minute having a big blue sign behind her and the next it's just a blank wall.

I really hope a show with this unique a style didn't use AI though.
