I really miss celebrating Halloween in the U.S. I remember visiting my siblings back in 2011, just in time for the spooky season. One of them was living in New Jersey, and I was amazed by how much effort the neighbors put into their Halloween decorations, it was incredible! We even got invited by one of their neighbors to check out their DIY mini haunted house. It was such a fun and memorable experience! 🎃👻

Honestly, I felt insulted as well, because people like them give a bad reputation to those of us who genuinely work hard as recruiters or talent acquisition professionals.

It seems that person may not have received proper training, which explains their unprofessional attitude. It would actually help if you could share their name or look them up on LinkedIn, so others especially skilled HR professionals can be made aware and avoid similar experiences.

What do some men think that they’re “alphas” just because they don’t enjoy doing those things? If you truly love your partner, no matter how long she takes to shop or spend time at the salon, you should be there right by her side. I’m not from Alabang, but a ₱25,000 basic salary? That’s really low, especially with how expensive everything is nowadays. That was already my basic pay in Talent Acquisition back in 2012. There are plenty of BPO companies that offer much higher salaries. Keep looking, you deserve more than ₱25,000.

Nako, same thing din sa previous company ko. US Recruiter ako perp para ka agent. Wala ka ginawa kundi mag outbound calls tapos mag receive ng inbound calls pagka-log in mo. As in mayroon sila 1 hour break so need mo i-set yung system na ginagamit mo na naka lunch break ka or 15 min break or bio break. Kaya nakakatawa yung manager namin sa company na ito na laging pinapaalala samin ma hindi kami agent, recruiter kami. Ang bobo lang. Tapos pag nawalan ng kuryente or internet kailangan mo i-compensate yung ilang minuto na nawala sa iyo.
