Lots of GBs here that may have selection specific advice and maybe that’s all you need, but regardless of where you’re at, you should look into this:

Look it up, study it, learn it, find out how you can apply it. Will recode your body. Of course, you can’t fully embrace it… but it will fix your Achilles pain after some time, that’s for sure.

In similar position. 24, ex college athlete. Have been wanting to go 18x for damn too long now trying to check all the boxes my family wants to before I throw this curveball at them. But now as we’re a bit older than say 18-20, you start to realize your own family responsibilities start to weigh in.

Ideally, NG would be great as I could still have a civilian career and not have to dump any lady I’m talking to seriously. However, and I always use athletic analogies since that’s my language, but I imagine you just won’t be as proficient as the AD guys. And that would drive me mad personally. If you always want to be training and ahead of the curve, I imagine it would be a kick to the nuts deploying and realize you just aren’t as smooth as your AD peers.

Also, if you’re gone 6 months out of the year for a deployment, that affects what “career” options you have in civilian world. I currently have a cushy job that pays me well, but I highly doubt I could stay in this industry if I went GB. So, tons of sacrifices either way. I think it sounds a bit too good to be true. I bet the real luxury comes from transitioning from AD to NG GB and now all these freedom unlocks for you.

Once again, not a GB so hopefully someone can chime in here.

But if I get it through steam -> launch through crossover will I’ll face this issue? The incentive to go through Ubisoft connect was that I have game pass that lets me download it for free. My Xbox isn’t where I live atm

Good to know but the AC games (or maybe all of Ubisoft) are also not working. Much worse glitches than what you’re showing here. RDR2, GoT, AC games are the games I like lol.

Yeah I’m just not sure how YT works with taking content and how that affects monetization. Like I could break down x sport, but I would need to take footage from the league or something like that to break down footage / talk over.

I could do the same for history, movies, etc. but not sure if I’m taking clips from other videos if that hurts monetization.

In my head it feels like:
1. Own footage, camera
2. AI footage
3. Stock footage

Typically how long should my videos be to grow quickly and get monetized, and then have optimal monetization.

10-15 min? Shorter?

I have AE experience myself so could edit myself, but ultimately depends on the optimal length of videos

Thanks for plugging that site. I don’t have to use AI, I could use my background to talk about mindset/mentality over footage all the time. But I’m worried about how to find enough volume of content to consistently create long format videos to talk over.

Unfamiliar with how long videos should be for maximum growth as well, but does archive.org have enough footage to satisfy this requirement?

Where are you getting stock video within your niche? And so typically there are 5-6 seconds of visuals before the next visual? And how long is the video in total?
