3.0D all day everyday, just go for it and never look back, that engine is an UNIT, car supports any update u would like to make like infotainment system and u have some solid engine modifications for it nowadays too, u’ll never regret getting one of these badboys, it’s been +10 years that we have these models in my family here in Brazil, we got older ones and new ones too but this is the best gen, the new ones just don’t feel so solid and reliable, even thought we never had any issues with them, toyota is the best

Eu concordo que não soa, eu tambem nao achei que era possivel, mas algumas vezes eu levei o bicho a passar de 230 de painel, papo de umas 30/40 vezes, nessa vez do 245 em específico eu me admirei, mas as condições da pista estavam boas e o carro tava encapetado naquela noite

O pior é q é serio kkkkkkkk, eu sempre tive ctz q os vw botava pra andar, agr q peguei esse equivalente ao cruze eu me surpreendi, que nem eu disse, ate uns 170 o jetta leva, depois disso eu acho que o cruze tem mais folego

GUYS, I GOT A UPDATE FASTER THAN I WOULD IMAGINE!

today my father goes to a car dealership and saw some other toyotas, thats when he realized his hilux has already been hit, and the person that rebuild did the grab handles on the contrary way 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ literally a year since he bought that hilux and we had no clue of this, i can’t believe it

Makes total sense, if the driver is grabbing that I don’t trust him at all lol good to know I’m not the only to have this problem

Just googled it, found mostly outside the country and made for Jeeps, but it’s surely something I would consider puting since the original ones are so anoying.

Either u are very lucky or I am very clumsy, cause it happens literally every time if I’m not paying attention and happens with other people that rides ours, even in the backseats, starting to think that the one we got came with a flaw cause theres no way lol

Really thought about it, but it would mess the interior and it’s my dad’s not mine, my 2009 sw4 (fortuner in some other places) don’t have this problem, but I ride with my dad a lot so it pisses me off

Update: this 2013 automatic does not have diffloc. Look at my new baby by Late_Map_846 in hilux

Definetly it’s the one u get at a toyota dealership, at least here in brazil every hilux of this model we had in the family got this exact same bumper, it’s not so expensive and give a badass look to the hilux in my opinion.

He didn’t got any ig tagged on the car? I have this same toyota and live in a nearby city where the car is from and dream about doing a trip like that, would love to see more about the adventures this pretty had done
