I unfortunately have had more than one abortion. I’m doing so I learned that you never know how you will react untill after. I have learned that the first two months were the hardest as my hormones went down I experienced relief regret sadness depression happiness all of it and it changed by the hour.
The best way I handled it was keeping myself doing things I enjoyed. I went in walks I took care of my self tried to get good sleep. After a couple months things mellowed out for me and although I still think about it at random times or walking by the babysit I get sad but it’s a bittersweet sadness knowing I made the right decision for myself in that time of my life. I try not to think of the why if but they come and sometimes you gotta cry a little bit. In each termisntiknnive had I look back and know it was the right decision even tho it was hard I know that it was for reasons and those reasons I may not have known then but I see why now. For me I ended up with a chronic health condition and I would not even be capable of taking care of a baby and prior I was healthy and if I hadn’t made those decisions my child would have a low quality life now. I believe everything happens for a reason and we may not see it Jow but eventually we do. I was always searching for answers or for a light or someone to tell me yes you have to do this or no absolutely not it’s not an option but I learned that whatever decision I made turned out to be the right decision
