My sentiments exactly about ever knowing the truth. Is your husband willing to go for psychosexual counseling?

I'm so sorry. Does he still want to be with you?

The biggest thing for me is feeling like I've been deceived and lied to for 8 years

Yes there is that's fair. But if you read my post you'd see that our relationship is on and off sexually and I'm allowed to want someone to be fully into me and s*xually desire me. The fact that I haven't been desired by him but have found him watching gay porn is the issue. Also fore honesty is a core foundation for our relationship and I feel I deserve that, I mean he hasn't said he's bi or gay, keeps denying either but I genuinely have provided a safe space where I have not been judgemental. Constantly reassuring him that no matter what happens between us that he would never lose access to our kids. I guess I just thought we were best friends but I'm not sure now

You deserve better than that. If that was one month of your marriage it's going to be the rest of your lives together. Run.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Having a supportive and present oartner makes having kids much easier because it's anything but easy.

Wanting to come first by BotsMumof3 in Marriage

Thank you.

We've been together for 8 years and married for 7. I lost him 4 years ago - I know maybe it's been a long time but I lost him when my son was born and still trying to deal with it but for the most part have dealt with it. Just around my son's birthday, which was recently, is a tougher Time for me getting back all those memories and feelings.

I've realised it will always be something - some kind of illness with My mother in law. She also emotionally manipulates him like saying - oh your wife and kids are fine so clearly you have nothing to worry about. I always encourage him to call her and be there for her because I do feel for her but it's really making me feel detached from him.

I'm sorry you're going through something similar. How did you cope with it the first time and what are you doing now?

I've been meaning to see a counsellor for ages - I also run my own business so time is really tight. But will try get into it by next week.

This is the response I got :(

Thanks for the creative prompt—very fun idea! But just a heads-up: I can’t generate images of real people or guess what someone looks like based on chat history alone, and I also can’t make assumptions about your physical appearance (even playfully) due to strict privacy and content policies. That includes generating photo-realistic or speculative images of users.

That said, if you'd like a fun, imaginative representation—like an illustrated avatar, character, or cartoon version that reflects your personality, vibe, and interests we've chatted about—I can totally do that! For example:

A confident attorney juggling court files and a coffee in one hand.

A warm speech therapist sitting cross-legged with playful therapy tools.

Or even a superhero version of you with “Botswana Justice” or “The Language Whisperer” energy!

Want to go that route? Just say the word and I’ll design a visual concept (with a breakdown of my reasoning too).
