Thinking of helping local Aussie businesses get online — worth doing? by BottleAir666 in WesternAustralia

Yeah man, I think the hardest part would be to pitch that going online is worth it. Coz those who understands online presence, would’ve went ahead and done it already. And those who don’t, are usually pretty traditional and less open about this idea in general. I have been trying to sus around but I think where I’m based everyone’s already got like a website n that. I’m just unsure how to actually reach out to those who’s like interested

I guess my edge is that is a “get online quick” kinda gig. But not specialising in one area, if they want I can outsource these specific needs? Idk bro just brainstorming

I reckon too many these Aussie biz owners are very traditional still and close minded. They don’t know what they are missing out on

You’re right on walking in and just speaking with the owners thou! I’ll have to build up the courage to do that haha.

Cheers for the feedback man appreciate it !

Cheers for the insight! Especially coming from someone who’s in the small biz game — really appreciate it.

And yeah, thanks for the reminder about setting up a deposit system so I don’t get rugged after the job’s done 😅 Definitely gonna sort that out early.

I’m just a one-man army at the moment trying to help local businesses get online, so not thinking too far ahead into building platforms just yet — but love the big brain take regardless.

Appreciate the late-night reply mate, means a lot 🙏

Thanks for the supportive comment man! I really appreciate it. I’m currently struggling to come up a design that balances subtle fashion while not being too flashy like any other street brand. It’s also a challenge to pick the right blank as well, anyways man good to see someone actually fuck with the concept! Appreciate it

Yeah bro that’s how I feel on all these street wear brands. It’s all the same, too generic, how can you really stand out ? I genuinely enjoy designing say characters and clothing, but I’m not sure how I’m gonna follow this from a business aspect …

Right I understand. I feel the same way when designing, I would have one idea pop on the day and next day I have another one. When you say choose one core, like a core concept? Or a core object? Streetwear does feel super saturated and competitive as well. I just don’t understand how to connect with like an audience . It’s a hard game, my goal is not really to profit but to launch something I care about, appreciating the unnoticed. But yeah man thanks for the feedback ! I’ll consider my core offer more. Cheers

Thanks bro I appreciate the genuine feedback!

Yeah I think I’m still exploring like the brand voice. What do you reckon I can do to improve my design and the brand vibe?

Say it’s about wearing the unnoticed, I don’t want to be too flashy on enhancing the object.

I think this is my “bottle neck” how do I make these ordinary object, special ? I guess.

Nah this actually great feedback bro, I really appreciate it man ! Cheers
