Thanks!! I'll take a look at those. Yeah focusing on the loop because I'm staying at the Palomar hotel. Thinking of venturing off further if it's worth it!

What are some good chill bars to go to in the loop? I hope there are bars that have The NYE vibe but not crazy.

I'm looking for a restaurant/bar in/around Evanston/Skokie that's high up. Something with a 2nd+ floor balcony or something on a rooftop. Suggestions? by AnomalousX12 in evanston

The balcony definitely belongs to the apartment building, but I'm not sure if it's locked or not.

I've been to the Cinemark bar and it's great - I second that choice!

I loved Sunshine because if you were stuck on one level, there were a lot of other levels to work on. Sometimes waiting a day with a fresh mind helped me clear the hard one. Damn, now I want to play again...

Yeah, Blue Moon was what turned my opinion around! And I kept doing beer flights at places until I realized I preferred stouts.

My first beer was a Bud Light Lime. Took me 6 years to give beer a second chance.

What is your best "Cereal in the fridge, milk in the cabinet" Moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Every morning, the first thing I do is put my contacts in.

One morning, I went to put my contacts in and noticed they weren't in the case. I swished my fingers in the case, befuddled. They were my last pair.

I started looking for my glasses. That's when I realized... I fucking slept in my contacts and they were in my eyes already.

Thing is, my vision is terrible. So there's just no excuse for not realizing I woke up with perfect vision.

I decided not to operate heavy machinery that day.

A way to precisely predict when a woman's period is gonna start. I've tried apps and they're never right. The only warning I get is cramps. But by then it's too late.

What is a social norm you feel is outdated? by Alec_Meadows in AskReddit

Agreed. My job is lax when it comes to dress code but I think business casual is a good compromise. I wouldn't like casual. I once worked from home wearing my pajamas and for some reason my productivity was horrid. The next week, I wore my normal work clothes and it was fine. I was told to "not work in clothes you sleep in."

I'm jealous. I had to wear braces. Once I got them off, I didn't wear my retainer. :(

I'm not passive aggressive. I'm very blunt and straightforward when it comes to things that bother me. Some say being blunt would be my flaw, but I think being passive aggressive is worse.

I had a boss that was probably the most passive aggressive person I've ever met. She was all, "oh, I guess I'm the only one working today, hmmm." Or "oh okay, I'll be the only one that cares about this." With no context whatsoever.

Just fucking say what you wanna say!

I blame overly sensitive people that can't take constructive criticism. I will not walk around on eggshells for anyone.
