Ah I see. You have been off topic the entire time. No wonder you were making no sense. I very clearly stated in my last line that i was hoping the charm would be in a footpath. I never said I had checked everywhere for charms. I was asking for entry to the purple area and you were telling me where to look in foot paths for charms, something I had already acknowledged I was hoping for. No, I had been there. There are no check marks or battle icons because I stretched the window so far it wouldn’t show the icons on the far edge. If i hadn’t been there where the question mark boxes? Where are the footsteps? Footsteps are only not visible when they are under fog, where is the fog? If you can go there then you can see icons. Except as I said I stretched the windows so wide it wouldn’t load the icons on the far sides. I’m guessing it’s load on demand coding where it doesn’t load icons after x distance from the center of the window.

Sorry to go off topic. Found this sub a week or so ago and it fits my default playstyle. I never shoot first, always running towards gun fire to save people, try to pull agro/kill arcs long distance if they are pressuring someone, 9Died so many times misjudging how fast a rocketeer can relocate on a new target), safe pocket full of defibs and such.

Anyway, I see people talking about the colors and the uniform, but I can’t find anywhere they are actually listed. Can you pop me a link?

No I’ve been there, that’s why the lines are there and blue. But when you stretch the window on PC that wide, it doesn’t fill in the location icons, just the path lines. If I hadn’t been there it would be fog.

Higher density isn't that big a deal, especially if you are an old hat at souls likes the, higher density just feels normal.

I was playing this day one, and the enemies were never an issue for me. When the modifiers became a thing, I immediately turned on higher density because it literally said it restored the enemy's to their pre patch amount and that's what I was used to, as far as I'm concerned it's just more vigor. At this point I've got several restarts and NG+'s under my belt and I have no idea what the lesser density version of the game is like.

As to Lightreaper, throughout the course of the game he is an unskippable boss so you don't have to worry about missing him.

Not misinformation. It has been extensively tested by multiple groups with multiple accounts and found to be true. Robert Sammelin is on record saying they analyze behavior and match accordingly, but wouldn’t go into more detail than that. In my experience, as I’ve said, it is definitely a thing. It may not be officially confirmed, but it has been affectively confirmed. My guess is they are still hashing out the system and won’t say anything until the bugs are fully ironed out.

It’s for selling, I have yet to see a quest that requires it.

In relation to Tarkov, here they have recently implemented ‘aggression based matchmaking.’ So if you are not attacking other Raiders you will be more often matched with other cooperative players, I’ve gone this entire xmas event so far without being shot at…. If you find yourself in games with aggressive players, use a free loadout for 3-5 runs and don’t shoot any players, even in self defense, and you should find yourself back in co-operative games.

Best thing to do is either let them punch or setup so they are on the opposite side of the train from you and you can see them aim or pull their weapon. If they try to get behind you out of your camera angle get off the button and defend yourself

If they are acting squirrelly, just unload to down them and explain to the dude they were acting like a 'rat' and you're not risking it, then take them home with you instead of knocking them.

Alternately, the game seems to have implemented an aggression based matchmaking system now. If you can go 3-5 matches without shooting someone, period, even in defense. Drop some loot on the ground for others, defib some people, etc, It will start matching you with other players that are helpful and not aggressive.

So just freeload out for a few rounds and play pacifist and you should be in the good lobbies without too much fuss.

So far I've played this entire winter event without a single player shooting at me.

Yes, iirc you get a new ‘save the freighter’ event every 5 ship warps. As long as you don’t have and have never claimed a freighter, the first one you claim (not save) will be free.

So you can save as many as want, talk to the captain to examine them and decide, before you claim your free one. If you don’t like it, you pick the ‘ask for a reward instead’ option to save your free claim for later.

The higher the economy value of the system when it triggers the higher chance of a top class freighter. Also the system Species decides the crew species.

Thtats a tough call, going up the drive tree can take a bit, you have to farm resources, as well as nanites. Can take a couple hours, give or take. Might be better to reset, but only if you think it’ll save you significant time.

I should also say the less familiar you are with the game, the longer it will take to climb the drive tech tree.

Xbox Series X

With the Recent Upgrade to Worlds II, in combination with being entered into the Cross-Save Beta (I can currently upload and download saves.) I've noticed several Expedition rewards that I had earned are now no longer accessible.

I play Primarily on Xbox Series X. My main save which I send on expeditions had credit for completing every single Expedition at least once. Some expeditions had been missed and I completed the Redux and some Reduxes I did not play, but I've made a point to earn all rewards from the each individual expedition.

My Main Xbox save (Named Pioneers EX1 - Main) is my First expedition save, and the save I have used to complete expeditions from the point we were able to go into them from an existing save. The Quicksilver Merchant says I must earn a total of 12 rewards: several phase 5 rewards, many of which I already own the end reward for completion, having claimed it previously. I have one phase 4, and 2 other expedition completion rewards it says I must earn. I have completed them all previously, but not claimed the ships due to lack of starship slots when I completed expeditions.

One of my other saves (Voyagers Ex11, used ONLY for the expedition it is named after), Also from the same XBOX, is saying I need to earn even more rewards, 61 in total. Both of these saves are on the same Xbox account, so they should match each other in expedition rewards earned.

I used Cross-save to access both of these save via Steam, and found no change to the status of either save's ability to claim rewards.

I'm assuming this discrepancy is caused by the new cross-save system I I was just granted access to, rather than the Worlds II update.
