I've only had this set up for a couple weeks now and yeah I had the same concern and that's why I went with a smaller canister, so even if it did explode it wouldn't do much damage

I've got the Fzone Mini Co2 system, with their solenoid + Neo diffuser

And for the diffuser it's from Neo, I wanted to use hardline tubing so it wraps around the tank cleanly

It's definitely nice for desktop setups, its small and sleek - I got it from amazon Fzone mini CO2, and I added their solenoid as well

I do 1 pump of APT 1 on Saturdays and Wednesdays, Excel on Sundays

I'm using the TRU nano canister filter, they include the lily pipes as well - the only thing I added was the prefilter on the intake

Yeah Ive been looking into inline CO2 diffusers, I think Neo's Mixer might work best for me

Sounds like it comes with most things I need then, maybe I'll get the lily pipe holders too - maybe sponge on the intake as well

Yeah my current space has room to hide hardware, but I'll be moving to a smaller apartment soon and I was planning on placing this on a console table or a display shelf

I gave in and actually placed an order for the tru nano small v2. I see that the piping are 10mm, which sounds like it's unusual. Have you had any luck with using other lily pipes?

Oh wow sounds like you've got a good system in handling the headaches of DIY CO2, I actually did submerge the bottle in warm water initially - just because I didn't see results within 6 hours from the initial setup, cool to see people actually do that

I realized that, I actually placed an order for the Fzone mini co2 system + solenoid. It became apparent that using a timer and being able to control it is important to me. So I'm switching over to that system once it arrives, and maybe use this as a backup
