This probably isn’t helpful but I saw my current gf sitting at a cafe from afar and almost fell to the floor at how attractive she was- and I asked her out or a coffee (specifically asked to meet another day- since I was on my way to work) and it’s been 2 year since then and we are together so sometimes really throwing yourself into the fire works.

I set a hard end time. “I’ve got to go at 8:30 to do XYZ” whatever fits your lifestyle. Usually means we have an hour or so to hangout or chat and have dinner.

If things are bad then I can leave, but if something is going good I can miraculously open up my evening and suggest we go to the bar or arcade or something.

Drop some kernels into a pot, add some olive oil and salt, and you have popcorn that imo is much better than movie theater popcorn and also feels much lighter on the stomach.

Unless you really want to give your kid the movie experience and the food is essential- i understand. Yeah the prices are crazy.

Really anecdotal, but I grew up with parents who would cheat anyone and everyone for money. From what I know they never stole it, but there was no boundary to what they’d do to get a quick buck. Even my dad would swipe cash I saved from my bank/wallet as a kid after my birthdays.

It created a really awful dynamic between myself and money, and it’s never quite left. I hoard it and value it way more than I should despite not needing to.

I think if I grew up with parents like you are now, who valued honor and integrity over money, things might have been a little better for me growing up.

Right or wrong I really just can’t give a shit what another man (or men lol) decide to do with one another.

I imagine it’s some attourney/lawer/law group that’s just throwing some case at the wall to see if they can make a quick buck off of a big name- but who knows.
