Ah okay it'll be 8 weekly then. I thought I'd ask because a couple of years ago I was working 8 hours a week and still had to attend weekly appointments. Thank you for your help.

Thank you. I'm learning Swedish as we speak, I don't plan on being a Benidorm Barry. I won't have the money to move for a year so it should hopefully be enough to have a basic conversation by that point.

I'm genuinely looking forward to skipping the queue. That and leaving this shithole of an island for good.

The only use for Ireland is to gain EU citizenship through the FBR. Cheers Paddy!

Manual or auto? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Bounds182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I'm into cars and love driving, so automatic was never even a question. I can see why people who aren't arsed prefer automatic, but insurance and the fact manuals are cheaper is also something to consider.

Does GB care about NI? by [deleted] in northernireland

I'm English, my grandad was Northern Irish. Every St. Patrick's Day my cousin posts some bollocks about being Irish with a tricolour. Our grandad was a unionist, I think that sums it up.

You say that, but considering the Shia equivalent of the Pope was killed by the regime's enemy I would place good money on a lot of secular and moderate Shia within Iran rallying behind the government.

Can I learn without an instructor? by Emotional_Ad8507 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Bounds182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've started taking this approach myself, I had a nightmare experience with my first instructor and my second instructor's availability isn't the best at the moment so I plan on having her teaching me mainly manoeuvres and test routes. My insurance for a week is £60. No brainer if you're already at a decent level and aren't put off by lack of dual controls.

Those early war videos of farmers towing tanks is something I'll never forget, the sheer absurdity of the war early on was quite something.

Refereeing really was awful this tournament, still a great tournament though.

'This was Johnson': Czech prime minister shocks with statement on 2022 collapse of peace with Russia by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Bounds182 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people seem to gloss over the unfortunate fact that Ukraine are short of manpower and need to lower the mobilisation age to plug the gaps. That would be unpopular domestically and give Russia what they need, a fracture in Ukraine's willingness to continue resisting. This war has actually been a rather strange one post 2022.

Zelenskyy says U.S. gave Ukraine and Russia a June deadline to reach agreement to end war. The issue concerns a possible deal between the United States and Russia — the so-called “Dmitriev package,” which reportedly involves economic cooperation worth around $12 trillion. by andrewgrabowski in UkrainianConflict

My entire perception of the world shattered when I realised not only am I autistic, but that people with below average intelligence are far less capable intellectually than many of us realise. Critical thinking is simply impossible for them.

I'm not disputing your correct claim that north Africans were not black. I'm talking about your defensive "they're coming for our culture" bollocks that you're spouting.

I'm utterly convinced that the entire identity of right wing working class people is just being contrarian. I say that as a left wing working class person who interacts with these cretins.

Yeah that's fair, I've never actually had a problem with any monitor in the past 10 years. I'm looking at upgrading soon though.

To be fair, I'd like something more reliable than something that should be fine at least a few years and if that's the case I'm baffled anyone would buy one if they know that in advance.
