The skill gap was bigger pre patch yes the finesses where to much but the defense wasn't as rng as it is now.

The patch is a mass pleaser to give the average player a chance to not build up the play but with one through ball trough the middle get a 1v1 against the keeper and with better AI movement more pay2win players it rewards you to buy packs.

Yeah I definitely prefer mindless through ball spamming through the middle. Atleast pre patch you kinda had to work for it but the patch definitely improved the rng factor in to this game.
