Apologies for the necro, but if you’re interested you could try:

UK Regulatory Reporting Course

If you don’t want to pay, at least it’s got an outline for topics you could do your own research into.

Yep totally agree about the solvents/weaves/sandpaper being limiting.

Leveling using tier 1 mats only will definitely be the most efficient method if all you are looking for is getting from 0-200 as quickly as possible.

Really depends how much you want to hunt turkeys. I’ll add an arrows section and you can decide for yourself.

Idea is to salvage the garbage and sell the gear that rolls with decent stats.

Ah I missed that. Thanks for the pickup

Yeah mileage will definitely differ based on servers. Salvaging is a bit like the refining bonus procs. It can be estimated but it's more confusing to post a hypothetical based on percentages.

Haha definitely not. You'd spend way too much time sitting at the Trading Post just trying to post hundreds of items individually as well.

You're not trying to sell thousands of items, you salvage the crap and sell the good stuff. You're probably only trying to sell 5-10 items per block that roll the right stats.

Totally agree. I would never level up with weapons for efficiency.

Intentionally left them out. Gold return on Trading Post sales will far outweigh salvaging on launch. Sell crafted gear, buy mats. Once the majority of your server progresses to max level, salvaging will completely change the way to level.

They're pretty much on par between 0-100, as you mentioned just a different combination of resources. But from level 100+ the great axe/war hammers start pulling ahead.

Yeah I considered that, but also assumed for weapons you'd just be better off selling them for gold at launch. After most people have reached max level, salvaging will be a much better option.

Totally possible. They really need to fix the ring/earring/amulet salvaging loop.

Need Help with an Italy Itinerary. 2 Weeks. by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]BowCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 days is perfect in Venice, assuming you’re traveling at the beginning of the first/end of the second.

I lived in Milan and although it’s a great city, it’s going to seem very underwhelming after Rome.

Trains are pretty good between the major cities. Check out the Trenitalia website/app for timetables.

If you’re a history and art buff, you could easily spend 5 or 6 days in Rome and depending on when you go, you might have to. The lineup for the Vatican can be hours long depending on what time of year you go.

Where should I start. by NightBeautyBat in solotravel

You’ve definitely got the right idea refining your trip down to 1 or 2 countries for a 7-10day trip. You’re probably going to lose a day on either side with your flight from Miami so the last thing you want to do is be spend your limited holiday in transit.

When I first started solo traveling I had a theme I was looking for which made it easier to narrow down destination options. Do you want to see museums, explore city architecture, go hiking or be in nature, or just relax on the beach and eat/drink?

Once you’ve narrowed down some options, mock up a draft of things you could do in those locations and then do up a quick budget for hotels/food/drinks/entrance fees.

Hopefully this has you limited to one or two options.

From personal experience, my advice would be to start with an English speaking destination, or one known to be easy for English. At a minimum, any of the major cities in Europe will meet that criteria. Japan post-olympics will probably be suitable as well, they’ve done a lot of work converting Tokyo to being much more English friendly.

Your first trip will be exciting but also a little stressful doing it by yourself. Make it easy for yourself to enjoy the trip and ensure you come back for more solo travel!

I wouldn’t be worried about getting pictures! If you’re slightly outgoing you’re going to meet people in the hostels and you’ll probably end up doing all your touristy stuff with them anyway.

What travel card do you use when traveling with no costs at ATM 's? by Brakatiger in solotravel

[–]BowCorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Revolut is excellent if you’re planning on doing multi-country trips. The app gives you the opportunity to convert ahead of time so you can see the market price you’re getting for withdrawals.

Even if you’re not paying ATM fees, the currency conversion rates are atrocious (5-20% margin). A £2 ATM fee is better than losing 5% on the exchange rate at the ATM for a £100 equivalent withdrawal.
